Preseason All-State Preview: Roster and Check-In Times

The Prep Baseball Report Preseason All-State Showcase for the 2017 graduating class will take place this Sunday February 14^th at The MAX in McCook, IL. This event has become a staple of our Preseason Showcases, with nearly 80 college commitments from last year’s event alone.

Last year’s event featured seven players who participated in this February’s Super 60 Pro Showcase including C Cooper Johnson (Carmel HS, Mississippi), RHP Cal Coughlin (Lake Forest HS, TCU), OF Jordan McFarland (Waterloo HS, Arkansas), LHP Ben Brecht (New Trier HS, UC-Santa Barbara) and C Sam Ferri (Notre Dame HS, Arizona State) to name a few. This year’s ROSTER is again likely to foreshadow several prospects for the 2017 Super 60.

Eight of the top 11 prospects in the state are scheduled to attend as well as several up and coming and under the radar prospects.

Prospects like RHP’s Ken Brokop (Bradley-Bourbonnais), Konnor Ash (Plainfield South) and catchers Keaton Rice (Geneseo), Jackson Peterson (Libertyville) and Merrik Edington (Mount Zion) are just of few of the top uncommitted prospects in the state that are on the rise.
