Short, level swing path. 63 mph exit velocity from a tee. Ran the 60 at 7.69. Defensively has a short arm action from a high ¾ arm slot. Two handed fielder. Threw 72 mph from the outfield.

2/26/17 - 6-foot-1, 220-pound, right-handed hitting catcher with a strong lower half. Offensively, balanced setup, short stride. Hands work above the ball, strength through contact. Recorded an exit velocity of 89 mph from a tee. Defensively, arm works short from a high ¾ slot. Throws flashed accuracy and were clocked at 70 mph from the crouch. Pop times ranged from 2.19-2.33. 5.01 home-to-first runner.

10/7/18 - 6-foot-2, 165-pound, right-handed pitcher, lanky, athletic frame, room for continued physical growth. Deliberate side step, high knee balance point, tilts over the rubber, lead leg kicks straight and lands in-line to home, toe lands square, athletic finish with pop-up. Long arm action, shows on back side, arm speeds through a high ¾ slot, rhythm involved. Fastball played straight, tilt down at times, 79-80 mph, topped 81 mph. Curveball, 11/5 shape, flashed depth, 66-70 mph. Slider, 10/4 shape, thrown harder, tight break with arm speed, 70-72 mph. Changeup faded, 70-72 mph.

2/11/18 - 6-foot-4, 175-pound outfielder, long slender frame. Right-handed hitter, balanced stance, short stride, solid balance. Path is long, uphill path, gap to gap contact. 85 mph exit velocity from the tee. 7.16 runner in the 60. Arm played at 77 mph from the outfield, over the top slot. Fluid actions long strides play through the baseball.

UNIVERSITY OF CHICAGO

1/15/17 - Ranked No. 170 in the state’s 2019 class. 6-foot-1, 210-pound two-way player, large build with strength. Right-handed hitter, balanced stance, smooth loading action, long stride, average balance. Bat strength present, aggressive swing with a purpose, front foot hitter attacks the baseball. Power bat registered 91 mph exit velocity from the tee. Defensively arm action plays with length, high ¾ slot, 79 mph across the diamond. Moves well around the bag, natural defender at first. 7.69 runner in the 60. On the mound fastball has sink, showed feel, 79-81 mph, touched 82 mph. Curveball has 11/5 shape, 69-70 mph. Knuckleball showed float action to arm side, 66-68 mph.

9/16/18 - Ranked No. 32 in the state’s 2019 class. 6-foot, 210-pound right-handed pitcher, sturdy durable build, strong lower half. Confident mound presence, works fast and controls the pace of play. Uptempo delivery, slight drop and drive style, repeats and pounds the zone with multiple pitches. Above average arm strength, works out of a short high ¾ window. Worked predominantly off the fastball which played up with above average command away, heavy finish at times ranged 84-89 mph depending on counts, mostly 86-88 mph, touched one 90 mph. Curveball played at 74 mph, feel to drop for strikes, occasional swing and miss chase. Changeup fades to arm side, 78 mph.

7/16/16 - Undersized right-handed hitter. Leadoff. Went 2-for-4 with an RBI and run scored. Simple, compact swing. Open setup, rhythm throughout, barrel control type hitter. Defensively, flashed fluid feet and an accurate arm on the infield.

LINDENWOOD (MO)

6/28/16 - 5-foot-8, 135-pound, infielder. Offensively, left-handed hitter, open setup. Smooth load, short stride; exit velocity clocked at 81 mph. Defensively, soft hands, fluid footwork, finishes thru the baseball. Short arm action from a ¾ slot. 7.3 runner in the 60.

5/17/18 - Ranked No. 140 in the state’s 2019 class. 6-foot-4, 192-pound, right-handed pitcher, thin frame, plenty room to thicken out. Started on the mound and went four innings with three hits, two earned runs, two strikeouts and three walks. Works in-line, exaggerated leg kick balance, lands square to home, athleticism in finish. Tempo picks up significantly after hand break, quickness arm at times, high ¾ slot, effort involved. Fastball worked straight, occasional tilt and cut, sat 81-83 mph. Slider majority worked on the same plane, depth at times, 76-77 mph. Changeup faded, maintained arm speed, 74-76 mph.

8/7/18 - Ranked No. 131 in the state’s 2019 class. 6-foot-2, 178-pound, right-handed hitting multi-positional player, well-proportioned, athletic build. At the plate, tall, open setup, smooth load, lower half coils to leg kick trigger. Loose, rhythmic hands, short and direct to the baseball, line drive ability to both gaps, ball came off hard, fluid rhythm involved. Fast bat speed, exit velocity topped 89 mph from a tee. In the outfield, quick, fluid footwork, soft hands, exchanges are quick and clean, naturally plays through the baseball. Arm is short and loose, quick arm speed, high ¾ slot, ball comes out firm, throws topped 87 mph from the outfield. Longer transfer and release in the infield, hands work, can range to glove side, showed arm strength, throws topped 85 mph across the infield. 7.37 runner in the 60.

MORAINE VALLEY CC

10/7/18 - 5-foot-10, 175-pound, strong, right-handed hitting infielder. Offensively, balanced setup, short leg-kick trigger. Loose hands, fast bat, stays short to the ball and line-drive approach. 81 mph exit velocity from a tee. Defensively, clean actions, maintains body control, reliable hands, short arm action, high ¾ slot and throws topped at 78 mph across the infield. 7.68 runner in the 60, laser-timed.

AUGUSTANA COLLEGE (IL)

10/7/18 - 6-foot, 205-pound catcher, strong durable build. Left-handed hitter, open stance, short stride, average balance. Pull side power approach, above average bat speed, slightly uphill path, occasionally jumps off the barrel, 96 mph exit velocity from the tee. Arm plays over the top, short and firm, high ¾ slot, 74 mph out of the crouch. 2.18-2.25 pop times. 7.56 runner in the 60.

10/7/18 - 6-foot-4, 170-pound, right-handed pitcher; long-limbed, highly-projectable build with plenty of room for continued physical development. Drop and drive delivery, works on-line and lands front toe slightly open. Short arm action, from an over-the-top slot. Fastball works mostly straight, cutting action at times, sat 78-80 mph. Curveball 12/6 shape, feel, 68-72 mph. Changeup, down in the zone, slight arm-side-run, 75-77 mph.

2/19/18 - 5-foot-10, 170 pound, small, lanky, left handed pitching prospect. Tilt and topple style, directionally in line, slightly closed landing, some rhythm involved. Long, fluid arm action, high ¾ arm slot, present effort needed. Fastball had hard run, some sink, 77-79 mph, topped 81 mph. Curveball, 10/4 shape, gradual break, occasionally sharp, 64-67 mph. Changeup, maintains arm speed, showed sink, ranged 69-73 mph.

8/7/18 - 6-foot, 178-pound, athletically-built, infielder. Offensively, left-handed hitter, athletic, balanced setup, slight load of the hands, and short stride. Short bat path and exit velocity clocked at 87 mph from a tee. Defensively, works through the baseball, long arm action from a ¾ to low ¾ slot. Accurate throws clocked at 72 mph across the infield. 7.41 runner in the 60, laser-timed.

10/7/18 - 6-foot-3, 190-pound, right-handed pitcher, athletic, strong build. Tall and fall delivery, works across his body. Long arm action, slight stab on the backside and comes out of a high ¾ slot. Fastball, sinking action at times, sat 78-79 mph, touched 80. Curveball, 11/5 shape, maintains arm speed, 66-69 mph. Changeup, arm-side-run and sinking action, 73-75 mph.

2/19/18 - 5-foot-10, 170-pound, well-proportioned, two-way prospect. On the mound, right-handed pitcher, tall and fall delivery, Slightly higher front side, works on-line, lands square with some effort throughout. Long, clean arm circle, quick out front, high ¾ slot. Fastball flashed arm-side-run, sat 81-84 mph, touching 85. Changeup, maintains arm speed, sinking action, 74-78 mph. Curveball 12/6 shape, depth, thrown for strikes 62-66 mph. At the plate, right-handed hitter, balanced setup, short leg-lift timing trigger and finishes on back side. Exaggerated uphill bat path, flashed bat speed, 75 mph exit velocity from a tee. Defensively, steady sure hands, athletic actions, packs glove on exchange, winds up. Short arm action, over-the-top slot, accurate throws, true ball with carry, clocked at 84 mph. 7.45 runner in the 60.

4/13/17 - Ranked No. 116 in the state’s 2019 class. 5-foot-10, 170-pound right-handed hitting shortstop with an athletic frame. Stats at short for Montini. Defensively has soft hands and fluid actions. At the plate has a short, uphill swing path. 4.51 down the line on a groundout, previously fouled ball off the inside of his ankle.

10/7/18 - Ranked No. 169 in the state’s 2019 class. 5-foot-10, 170-pound outfielder, strong athletic build. Strong right-handed bat, open setup, short stride to even, excellent balance, simple pre-pitch and repeats. Hands create above average bat speed, loose with feel for the barrel, path is level with extension through contact. Ball jumped off the bat to all fields, works gap to gap with some pop, in rhythm and on time. 94 mph exit velocity from the tee. 6.89 runner in the 60. Profiles in any outfield spot, actions work through the baseball , natural athlete, soft hands. Arm worked long out of high ¾ slot, played on line and accurate, 82 mph.

9/30/18 - Ability on mound and in field. Smaller athletic frame. Competes well on mound. Mostly 79-81 mph with late arm-side run and sink. Sweeping break on curveball; lands for strikes. Above-average fade and sink on changeup with solid command.

8/7/18 - 5-foot-10, 165-pound, athletically-built, well-proportioned, right-handed hitting multi-positional prospect. Offensively, balanced, slightly crouched setup and short, leg-lift trigger. Bat works level through the hitting zone, line-drive approach. 87 mph exit velocity from a tee. Defensively, worked out behind the plate and on the infield. Behind the plate, soft, receptive hands, quick release, traditional catcher arm action, works short and over-the-top; 74 mph from the crouch and pop times ranged between 2.10-2.19. On the infield, athletic actions, sure handed, active feet, plays through the baseball. Loose arm action and throws topped at 79 mph across the diamond. 7.57 runner in the 60, laser-timed.

2/11/18 - Arkansas commit. 6-foot-2, 190-pound right-handed pitcher, lean loose frame. Full windup delivery, uptempo, squared landing, rotational finish to first base side, some effort. Arm action is loose and live, quick arm, high ¾ slot. Fastball showed feel, controlled at the top of the zone, 86-88 mph, touched 89 mph. Curveball has 11/5 shape, 67-72 mph, Slider is 73-75 mph, more sweeping action. Aggressive changeup, thrown with arm speed, and plays with arm side run, 80-81 mph.

5/17/18 - Ranked No. 88 in the state’s 2019 class. Has consistently been the offensive catalyst for Buffalo Grove over the past two seasons. Athletic hands, repeats swing and approach, maintains balance and strength through contact. Stands in the box confidently. Wore a curveball off the back in his first at-bat. Second plate appearance, best of the day, hammered a low and inside fastball off the CF wall for an RBI double. Threw his hips and trunk through the ball, barrel path worked with natural lift, generated back spin. Hit a sacrifice fly in third at-bat, tying the game up at a crucial moment.

10/7/18 - 5-foot-11, 165-pound, wiry, well-proportioned, right-handed hitting infielder. 7.04 runner in the 60, laser-timed. At the plate, open setup, stride gets back to even and aggressive swing. Long bat path, flashed bat speed and works gap-to-gap. 88 mph exit velocity from a tee. On the infield, soft hands at times, clean transfer, occasionally winds up, long arm action, high ¾ slot and throws topped at 85 mph.
