Jake Gilhaus, RHP, Normal Community, 2016

Jake Gilhaus1.19.14 - 6-foot-1, 210-pound two way player. On the mound delivery shows balance and works online. Arm plays from a high ¾ slot, shorter loose arm action. Fastball is mostly straight, shows control, 78-79 mph. Curveball has 12/6 shape, some depth, 62-68 mph. Throws straight change, slightly decelerated arm action, 62-63 mph. Offensively showed some pop, 81 mph exit velocity. Showed natural actions around the bag, loose arm action, showed some soft hands, fluid footwork around the bag.

Wesley Nash, OF, TF South, 2016
College of Lake County

Wesley Nash8.7.15 - 6-foot, 176-pound, right-handed hitting outfielder. Defensively works from a ¾ arm angle with short arm action. Firm hands, quick footwork, with clean exchange. Showed accuracy and carry on throws Recorded 84 mph on throws from the outfield. Hits from a tall balanced setup, short stride, with inside out approach. Registered exit velocity of 83 mph off the tee. Was 4.51 home to first in game play and ran 7.25 60. Went 1-3 in game play with a single, a stolen base, and one run scored.

Tyler Peterson, SS, Lake Zurich, 2016
Elgin CC

Tyler Peterson2.15.15 - 5-foot-11, 160-pound left-handed hitting middle infielder hits from an open setup, short, leg kick stride, short, slightly uphill bat path, loose wrists, quickness to swing when on time, impressed with gap-to-gap line drives during batting practice, 80 mph exit velocity off the tee. Defensively, threw 76 mph across the diamond from short, high ¾ arm slot, average carry across the diamond, middle infield actions. Ran a 7.18 60.
