Prep Baseball Report Missouri held the St. Louis Gamers Scout Day on February 18 at All-Star Performance in St. Louis, Missouri. Nearly sixty players participated in the 2022 to 2018 classes.

Player profiles have been updated with running times and velocities along with a video of their performance. 

Players can now updated their profiles with a 
ProspectPlus subscription, while scouts and recruiters can add players on ScoutPlus.

Here is a closer look at the 2020-2021 infielders from the event, listed in alphabetical order.

2021-2020 Infielders

Drew Baughman SS / 2B / CBC, MO / 2021

Baughman is a 5-foot-10, 150-pound, right-handed hitting middle infielder in Missouri’s 2021 class. At the event he ran a 4.37 home-to-first and posted an exit velocity of 84 mph. During hitting evaluations, Baughman has a leg kick into his load, some rhythm with his hands, in line stride, smooth yet explosive swing. Defensively, smooth actions, fluid footwork, clean arm action, high three-quarter release, clean transfers, momentum towards target, positional velo of 81 mph, mostly accurate throws.

Carson Dubach C / SS / Edwardsville, IL / 2021

Dubach is a 5-foot-7, 140-pound, left-handed hitting catcher and outfielder in Missouri’s 2021 class. He ran a 4.44 home-to-first and posted an exit velocity of 85 mph. At the plate, Dubach starts in an upright and open stance, quiet load, rhythm with hands, in line stride, controls barrel, extension through the baseball. On the infield, fluid footwork, quick transfers, momentum towards target, positional velo of 71 mph, accurate throws.


Tyler Gilmer RHP / 3B / Sikeston, MO / 2021

Gilmer is a 6-foot-1, 175-pound, right-handed hitting corner infielder in Missouri’s 2021 class. He ran a 4.72 home-to-first and posted an exit velocity of 175 mph. During batting practice, open stance, knee pinch into load, longer but in line stride, big and aggressive swing, high finish with hands, mostly pull side contact during round. Defensively, aggressive to the baseball, clean transfers, momentum towards first base, short arm action, three-quarter release, positional velo of 75 mph, accurate throws.

Gregory Hamilton 1B / RHP / CBC, MO / 2021

Hamilton is a 6-foot-2, 158-pound, corner infielder in Missouri’s 2021 class. He ran a 4.52 home-to-first and posted an exit velocity of 84 mph. During hitting evaluations, lean and athletic build, narrow stance, simple load with minimal movement, level bat path, controlled and repeatable swing, showed some pop to his pull side during batting practice. Defensively at first base, attacks the baseball, clean transfers, long arm action, three-quarter release, positional velo of 72 mph, mostly accurate throws.

Cade Hohl SS / 2B / SLUH, MO / 2020

Hohl is a 5-foot-11, 185-pound, right-handed hitting middle infielder in Missouri’s 2020 class. At the event he ran a 4.37 home-to-first and posted an exit velocity of 96 mph. During hitting evaluations, Hohl uses a simple knee pinch load, across the body stride, rhythm with hands, quick bat, extension through the zone, high finish with hands, showed hard pull contact during round with some lift. Defensively, Hohl shows off his athleticism, good actions, quick and fluid arm action, positional velocity of 87 mph, very accurate throws

Sam Ladd 1B / SS / Parkway Central, MO / 2020

Ladd has a strong build at 6-foot, 200-pounds, and is a right-handed hitting infielder in Missouri’s 2020 class. At the event he ran a 4.50 home-to-first and posted an exit velocity of 92 mph. During hitting evaluations, starts with a narrow stance, leg lift into load, in line stride, some rhythm with hands, long and aggressive swing, level bat path. Defensively, quick feet, glove tap in to transfer, momentum towards first base, high three-quarter release, positional velo of 80 mph, very accurate throws.

Cameron Macon 2B / OF / Kirkwood , MO / 2020

Macon is a 6-foot, 185-pound, right-handed hitting middle infielder in Missouri’s 2020 class. At the event he ran a 4.25 home-to-first and posted an exit velocity of 91 mph. During hitting evaluations, Macon has a simple weight shift load, slight across the body stride, some rhythm with hands, quick bat, aggressive swing. Defensively, Macon shows fluid footwork, momentum towards target, high three-quarter release, positional velo of 82 mph, very accurate throws.

Jack Martin 3B / SS / Westminster, MO / 2020

Martin is a 5-foot-10, 160-pound, right-handed hitting infielder in Missouri’s 2020 class. At the event he ran a 4.40 home-to-first and posted an exit velocity of 90 mph. During batting practice, Martin starts in a wide stance, minimal movement into load, in line stride, quick bat and aggressive swing. Defensively, quick to the baseball, glove tap into transfer, momentum towards first baseball, positional velo of 72 mph, fairly accurate throws.

Jack Meyer SS / RHP / Rockwood Summit, MO / 2021

Meyer is a 6-foot-1, 178-pound, right-handed hitting middle infielder in Missouri’s 2021 class. At the event he ran 4.94 home-to-first and posted an exit velocity of 84 mph. During hitting evaluations, Meyer starts with an open stance, leg lift into load, in line stride, repeatable swing, high finish with hands, mostly pull side contact during batting practice. Defensively, fluid footwork, glove tap into transfer, momentum towards first base, soft hands, high three-quarter slot, positional velo of 72 mph, very accurate throws.

Nicholas Moten SS / RHP / Westminster , MO / 2021

Moten is a 5-foot-10, 170-pound, right-handed hitting middle infielder in Missouri’s 2021 class. He ran a 4.29 home-to-first and posted an exit velocity of 95 mph. During hitting evaluations, Moten starts with an athletic base, reverse to tap into load, loose hands, controls the barrel, extension through the baseball, high finish with hands. Defensively, Moten shows off his athleticism, fluid footwork, clean transfers, clean arm action, strong arm with a positional velo of 89 mph, accurate throws with carry.


Trevor Quick SS / 2B / Seckman, MO / 2021

Quick has a very lean build, long levers and is 6-foot, 145 pound middle infielder in Missouri’s 2021 class. At the event, he ran 4.29 home-to-first and posted an exit velocity of 83 mph. During batting practice, Quick starts upright and with an open stance, in line stride, aggressive swing, controls the barrel, level bat path. Defensively, Quick has good actions, quick to the baseball, clean transfers, short arm action, three-quarter release, positional velo of 77 mph, very accurate throws.

William Range RHP / 3B / Edwardsville, IL / 2020

Range is a long and lean 6-foot-3, 175-pound, right-handed hitting corner infielder in Illinois’ 2020 class. He ran a 4.47 home-to-first and posted an exit velocity of 91 mph. During hitting evaluations, Range starts in an athletic stance, quiet load, in line stride, aggressive swing, showed mostly pull contact with some lift during batting practice. Defensively, moves well for his size, fluid footwork, soft hands, short arm action, high three-quarter release, positional velo of 80 mph, very accurate throws.

Anthoine Shell II 1B / 3B / DeSmet, MO / 2020

Shell is a strong 5-foot-11 215-pound left-handed hitting third baseman in Missouri's 2020 class.  He ran a 4.28 home to first and has a 94 mph exit velocity.  At the plate, starts loaded in back side, quiet hands, simple and repeatable load, quick hands with some lift to bat path, power to to the pull side, stays balanced with aggressive swing.  On the the infield, high three quarters arm slot, loose arm action, quick exchange with momentum in footwork after the catch, mostly accurate throws, 84 mph positional velocity.

Blain Tuepker SS / 2B / Wright City, MO / 2020

Tuepker is a 5-foot-9 170-pound right-handed hitting shortstop in Missouri's 2020 class.  He ran a 4.50 home to first and has an 84 mph positional velocity.  At the plate, starts open and lands closed, slight hand load, hands work inside the ball, level path through the hitting zone, mostly middle to opposite field contact.  On the infield, high three quarters arm slot, gains ground with footwork after fielding the ball, clean transfer, fluid footwork to the ball, 80 mph positional velocity.
