We'll be spending the rest of the month detailing the players who earned the most clicks to their profiles throughout 2019 ending with the state's most-viewed profile of the year, set to be released on Dec. 31. Today marks the start of our countdown of the top-10 most-viewed profiles of 2019, starting with SS Christian Knapczyk (Joliet Catholic; Louisville commit).

Ranked at No. 72 on the national high school board, No. 3 in the state, Knapczyk is one of the top prospects in the state and, thus, the Midwest. He’s long established himself as one of the best prospects in the state, really ever since we began to rank this 2020 class. He’s never been ranked outside the top-five and he’s always had an instinctual knack for the game that’s made him one of the most fun players to watch.

His on-field IQ sets him apart from his peers. Knapczyk plays the game with an innate bounce and energy that makes him an infectious top-of-the-order catalyst from the left-handed batter’s box, and he regularly poaches would-be hits on defense while roaming shortstop.

His game takes some appreciating – he’s the type that, the more you see him, the more you respect the style, hustle, and talent. As a result, he’s been climbing our national boards and is up to No. 72 in the high school class and the No. 178 prospect on our PBR Draft Board.
