Prep Baseball Report

Uncommitted 2021s

Nathan Rode and PBR Staff

Summer baseball is in full swing and Prep Baseball Report’s staff is out in full force, evaluating players across the country. There may be a dead period in place, but coaches are still watching and there is plenty of talent available on the recruiting market. Below are several uncommitted 2021s that have stood out so far.

Nicholas Argento, RHP, Wayzata HS, MN
One of the top performers at the Top Prospect Games in June, Argento has a projectable frame with upside at 6-foot-5, 200 pounds. He pitches with a loose arm action from a 3/4 slot and the fastball sat 89-92. He has developed a slider since the fall, which sat 83-85 with average shape. He also has a changeup with average fading action at 81-82. He also has strong academics.
