Underclass Trials Showcase: Stats Posted

The Prep Baseball Report Underclass Trials took place on Thursday, June 11th indoors at the MAX in McCook, IL. This event featured 2017 and 2018 graduates, and acts as an identifier for this summer’s prestigious Future Games for the class of 2017.
89 underclass prospects came together to show off their skills in front of the PBR Scouting Staff.
Today we’ll take a look at the top statistical performers from this year’s Underclass Trials. CLICK HERE for complete statistics in PDF Format.
Two players who really stood out were 2017 catchers Keaton Rice and Merrik Eddington.
Eddington and Rice both popped a showcase low 1.94 from the crouch, as well as showing 91 mph exit velocity from a tee. Rice threw 81 mph from the crouch and Eddington threw 78 mph from the crouch.
