Unsigned Senior Games: Top Overall Prospects

Over the past week we rolled out our positional analysis for the Unsigned Senior Games that took place on August 9th at Hoffer Field on the campus of Judson University in Elgin, IL. Position players took part in a pro-style workout in the morning followed by game play in the afternoon.

Today we conclude the analysis from the event with the top overall prospects.

TOP OVERALL PROSPECTS

1. Ryan Loutos, RHP, Barrington, 2017
6-foot-4, 205-pound, athletic, wide shouldered, projectable right-handed pitcher. One of the top 2017 arms still available. Clean, easy delivery, stays in line, lands square, finishes athletically. Long, loose arm action from a high ¾ slot. Ability to work both sides of the plate. Fastball, flashed late arm side run, thrown for strikes; sat 84-87 mph. Curveball, 11/5 shape, gradual break, 70-72 mph. Cutter, maintains arm speed, 10/4 shape, 78 mph.
