Unsigned Senior Spotlight: RHP Ethan Lambrigger

On Oct. 7, at The MAX sports facility in McCook, Ill., PBR will be hosting the fall’s Unsigned Senior Showcase. You can find registration information within the previous hyperlink, but we’ll use this post today, as well as the posts following this one leading up to this week’s event, to shine the light on a few of the attending prospects who merit specific mentioning.

We got our first look at Lincoln-Way East RHP Ethan Lambrigger (2019) in February at the Lockport Preseason I.D event. There, the 6-foot righty sat in the low 80s with a running, sinking fastball with feel for a sharp breaking ball and straight change. Our staff saw him again in late may during the Griffins’ playoff push. He had been a key part in a rotation that had a spot on the Power 25 all season long. When we saw him in late May he was highly competitive and attacked hitters behind a fastball that topped at 86 mph. He also showed confidence in a firm breaking ball that sat 73-77 mph. Lambrigger should be a compelling uncommitted target headed into this fall and winter.
