Ryan Bannon 3B / SS / Willowbrook, IL / 2025SAINT FRANCIS COMMIT |
Ethan Bass SS / RHP / Glenbrook North, IL / 2026WAKE FOREST COMMIT Currently ranked No. 1 in the state and No. 13 in the country. Bass stands in at a lean 6-foot, 171-pounds with room to fill out the frame, and started at shortstop and batted fifth for Glenbrook North. Defensively he looked the part with his actions and overall feel for the game. Bass showed an advanced feel for the glove with how soft and reliable his hands played, while showing a feel for an internal clock; trusting his strong and accurate arm across the diamond to make the necessary throws. He also made a couple advanced plays for his age moving to his left up the middle. From the right side of the plate, he has a calm swagger about him in the box with minimal pre-pitch movement, while maintaining some looseness in the hands. His hands work direct to the ball with an uphill bat path. He finished the game 1-for-2 with a walk and an RBI. |

Defensively, the rising senior showed rangy actions, running down flyballs that most couldn't. At the plate, the right-handed hitter has an athletic setup with a simple trigger. A 5-foot-11, 180-pound frame, the Maine South student-athlete is an uncommitted name to know. |
Monroe Evans OF / RHP / Morgan Park, IL / 2025Rankings StateRank: 272 / POS: 53

Racked up a double and two triples in three at-bats. Intentionally walked in fourth plate appearance. Open stance with intriguing power to all fields. Compelling look at the uncommitted junior. WISCONSIN-WHITEWATER COMMIT Uncommitted. Stands in at a trim, long-levered 6-foot, 165-pounds with plenty of room to fill out the frame. Kirchner got the start for Conant in the State Semifinals and put the team on his back with his stellar outing to send his team to the State Finals. He is an easy mover down hill with a relaxed and simple delivery. His overall composure stood out throughout the start; pitching through big moments and coming up in the clutch when his team needed him the most. He only squandered two hits through his seven innings of work, walking three, while punching out seven. His fastball played with sink and arm-side run at 80-83 mph, inducing weak contact and produced swing and miss throughout. Kirchner’s primary offspeed offering was a short 2/8-shaped slider at 72-74 mph that kept hitters off balance, while also going to a short arm-side fading changeup at 77-79 mph. The southpaw will be a name to continue to monitor moving forward. |

Have seen him multiple times this spring and this was our best look to date in a highly anticipated Mississippi Valley Conference matchup against Triad. Has a 0.41 ERA with 49 strikeouts and 15 walks over 34 innings pitched this spring, holding opponents to a .136 batting average against. Long arm swing with scap retraction on the backside, accelerates out front and finishes out of a fast high ¾ arm slot. Fastball touched 91 early, pitched at 88-90 mph with true command of the plate, spotting it on either corner when he wanted. High spin with easy life and jump out the hand, holds plane with carry.
