The 8^th Annual Super 60 Showcase is Sunday, February 7 at the Max-McCook Athletic & Exposition Center. The prestigious, invite-only event features many of the top players from Illinois and Indiana. 

The event begins at noon with position players, and will conclude around 4:30 p.m. Since its inception in 2003, the Super 60 has been one of the most heavily scouted events for professional scouts prior to the high school season. Last year’s event was the best assemblage of talent, as 10 of the 28 pitchers dialed it up to 88 mph or better.

This year’s participants have the potential to surpass last year. Some of the top seniors who will be attending include: Kevin Koziol (Brother Rice HS), Mike Foltynewicz (Minooka HS), Mark Payton (St. Rita HS), Jon Surber (Lisle HS), Ryan Scarpetta (Rockton Hononegah HS), Shane Conlon (Naperville Central HS), Mike Hollenbeck (Joliet Township HS), Brock Stewart (Normal West HS), Steve Adkins (York HS), Joe Claver (Downers Grove North HS), Chris Waylock (Cary-Grove HS), Ryan Hartman (Mt. Zion HS), Drasen Johnson (IVC HS) and many other top-ranked players.

Some top juniors who will be in attendance include: Joey Filomeno (St. Rita HS), Nick Burdi (Downers Grove South HS), Tim Barry (Oak Forest HS), Jeremy Scheck (Stevenson HS), Charlie Tilson (New Trier HS), Dontrell Rush (Harlan HS), among others.

The Max is located on the corner of 47^th Avenue and Vernon Street in McCook, IL.
