EVENT HISTORY
We've been hosting this event for the past 12 years, and it's consistently provided us a look at prominent players who've later gone on to receive invitations to select events, like the Prep Baseball Future Games and Illinois State Games. Among the players in attendance at this event in 2024, there are already 13 commitments among them.
LHP Kevin O’Connor (DePaul College Prep, 2024; Bellarmine) impressed in front of our staff last year, his fastball worked clean out of the hand in the 84-86 mph range, spinning over 2300 RPM at times. His off-speed was the separator, starting with his slider that worked around 74-78 mph, displaying sharp 2/8 action through the zone with over 2700 RPM at times. Then his curveball had a spin rate of 2500 RPM and was thrown at 72-74 mph.
INF Hayden Mosley (Harvest Christian Academy, 2024; Morton) had a solid showing last year with an event leading 99 mph exit velocity, he followed that up throwing 85 mph across the infield, another event leader. Mosley had a clean defensive round putting together an all around impressive showing at the 2024 Unsigned Senior Showcase.
OF Luke Joseph (Lake Forest, 2024; Denison) is a physical right-handed hitter that showed well at last year's showcase. Joseph had a max exit velocity of 95.1 mph and ran a 7.22 60-yard dash. At 6-foot, 190-pounds, Joseph displayed quick hands through the zone, staying on top of the baseball with strong hands, he also displayed impressive balance throughout his operation and through impact.
We're looking forward to checking in on the next crop of talent from this event to earn next-level attention in the coming weeks, months, and years.
2025 ROSTER
This year's roster is already shaping up nicely, just like in years past.
MIF Noah Fitzgerald (Lyons Township, 2025) is an intriguing prospect, standing at 5-foot-9, 163-pounds, Fitzgerald is currently ranked No. 221 in the 2026 class. The infielder runs a 6.89 60-yard dash and has an exit velocity max of 94 mph. On defense, Fitzgerand is a sure defender and throws 85 mph across the diamond.
C Keaton Davis (Marquette Academy, 2025) The former Illinois State Gamer is a name to keep an eye on in the 2025 class. Davis is 6-foot, 190-pounds and has a 93 mph exit velocity. Defensively, Davis has a 2.07-2.09 pop time and throws 75 mph from the chute.
INF Jack Perrone (Hampshire, 2025) is another name to follow in Illinois 2025 class. At 6-foot, 160-pounds, Perrons has a lean and athletic frame. The top of the lineup bat has a gap-to-gap approach and has displayed a flat bat path, connected arms, short leg kick, and balanced lower half.
Perusing the event roster, we’re set to meet a majority of players who’ve not yet attended a Prep Baseball showcase, and we’re eager to add more names to our follow lists.
