The premier scouting event of the summer, the Futures Games, is set to take place from July 27 through July 30th at LakePoint in Emerson, GA. The Futures Games will feature the top uncommitted talent from all over the country, specifically from the class of 2024 with a select group of 2025 prospects.

Team Indiana features a strong group of high-end, uncommitted position players, many that have already garnered the interest of college coaches.

Infielders

Team Indiana is headlined by an extremely deep, talented group of uncommitted infielders. The highest ranked prospect of the group is 2024 3B Richard Cromartie (Penn HS). Cromartie is a true switch-hitter with some juice and possesses advanced arm strength across the diamond. 2024 SS Reid Howard (Forest Park HS) has all the makings to stay at shortstop at the next level. Howard has a long, athletic 6-foot-1, 165 pound frame and stands out with smooth infield actions, advanced arm strength, and present athleticism. 2024 SS Noah Coy (Center Grove HS) is one of the top athletes in the group. Coy has a quick left-handed swing and can really pick it in the infield. 2024 SS Chase Bays (Mishawaka Marian HS) has a strong hit tool and advanced bat speed, swinging it well at multiple events throughout the past year. 2024 SS Brayden Hibler (Westfield HS) is an instinctual player with a strong glove in the middle of the diamond. Hibler possesses a long, projectable 6-foot-2, 165 pound frame that suggests his best baseball is well ahead of him. 2024 SS Isaac VanderWoude (Illiana Christian HS) has a smooth left-handed stroke with a knack for the barrel. VanderWoude has shown tons of defensive versatility, able to man all four infield spots and can cover ground in the outfield as well. 2025 SS Mason Barth (Andrean HS) rounds out the infield as the lone 2025 of the group. Barth is an uber-physical, advanced athlete that is currently ranked as a top 10 player in Indiana’s 2025 class. Barth is a gamer and has shown the ability to hit advanced velocity with a quick, powerful swing.

Outfielders

Team Indiana’s outfield group offers plenty of tools and athleticism. The group is headlined by two of the biggest risers in the 2024 class this season, Jayce Lee (South Bend Saint Joseph HS) and Hunter Snow (Carmel HS). Lee oozes projectability at 6-foot-3, 175 pounds and possesses a quick, clean right-handed swing that has a chance to hit for big power. Lee has also improved his athleticism over the past year and possesses advanced arm strength. Snow has all the makings to be a powerful left-handed bat at the next level, possessing an athletic, 6-foot-2, 175 pound frame and a loose, clean stroke. 2024 OF Cole Decker (Evansville North HS) is an advanced runner (6.63) that can handle the bat. Decker has a short, quick left-handed swing and can really cover ground in the OF. 2024 RHP/OF Nick Heitman is a twitchy, two-way prospect at 6-foot-3, 180 pounds. Heitman is a good runner with advanced arm strength and possesses some power potential at the dish. Two 2025s round out the outfield group in Cal Gates (Bedford North Lawrence) and Logan Smolar (Andrean HS). Gates is a gamer with arm strength and a quick left-handed stroke. Gates is a tough out, possessing high bat-to-ball skills and a good run tool. Smolar is a tooled-out, two-way prospect that possesses advanced strength and athleticism for a 2025, and is currently the #2 ranked prospect in Indiana’s 2025 class. The 6-foot-2, 190 pounder is a 6.70 runner with plus bat speed, who can also run his fastball up to 91 mph.

Catchers

A pair of 2024 backstops will represent Team Indiana in this year’s Futures Games. 2024 C Caulin Brown (Fishers HS) is a high-motor defender behind the dish with soft hands. 2024 C AJ Beggs (Center Grove HS) is a physical, 6-foot, 195 pounder with barrel strength and bat speed. Beggs possesses a strong arm behind the dish and has showcased pop times between 1.86-1.92.
