IN Preseason All-State: Standout Corner Infielders

On Saturday, February 22, PBR Indiana hosted its annual Preseason All-State Showcase at Westfield High School in Westfield, IN. A record 153 players within the 2015-2017 classes participated in the event, and as always the talent was deep.

Below we analyze the standout corner infielders from the event......

Top 10

1. Grant Sloan, 3B, Zionsville HS, 2015: 6-foot-4, 195 pound strong, athletic junior. Possesses a strong, athletic arm across the diamond at 87 mph. Hands are above average and shows good athleticism in the field. Footwork is fluid and has a clean exchange. Offensively uses a leg kick. Shows above average bat speed. Swing path is level and gets to extension. Barrels up the baseball with some power. Ran a 7.00 60 at the event. Sloan is committed to Virginia as a RHP.
