No. 1 Cathedral 12 New Palestine 2 – Evan Whitham was 2-4 with a double, three RBI, and a run, Jared Poland was 2-3 with two RBI and two runs, Andy Krull was 1-2 with two RBI, and Jack Schmidt was 1-3 with two RBI and two runs. Nick Eaton got the win throwing all five innings allowing two runs on three hits, striking out 11. 

Jeffersonville 5 No. 2 Floyd Central 2 – Ian Ellis threw a complete game to get the win allowing two runs, eight hits, and struck out three. Joe Burke was 3-3 with a triple, RBI, and a run, Ellis was 2-3 with a double and a RBI, Casey Gibson was 1-2 with a double and a RBI, Noah Fertig was 2-4 with a RBI and a run, and Bailey Falkenstein was 2-3 with a double and a RBI. 

Carmel 2 No. 4 Lawrence North 1 – Tommy Sommer struck out 11 in a complete game win allowing one run on six hits. Elliot Shebek was 2-2 with a RBI and a run, Trevor Kinnard was 1-1 with a double and a RBI, and Connor Cunningham was 1-3 with a run. 

Mt. Vernon 2 No. 7 Evansville North 1 – Austin Krizan got the win throwing 5.2 innings allowing one run on four hits, striking out four. Krizan was 2-2 with a RBI, Logan Brown was 2-2 with a run, and Austin Montgomery was 1-3 with a run scored. 

No. 10 McCutcheon 11 Kokomo 1 – Braden Giroux was 2-5 with a homerun, three RBI, and two runs, Tyson Scheumann was 2-2 with a homerun, two RBI, and a run, Trevor Smith was 1-1 with two RBI, and Mason Bruce was 1-2 with a RBI and a run. Jackson Smeltz struck out 11 in a complete game win allowing four hit and an unearned run. 

No. 14 Penn 11 No. 23 Mishawaka 10 F/8 – Nolan Metcalf was 4-4 with three RBI and two runs, Trevor Waite was 2-4 with two RBI and a run, Skylar Syznski was 1-4 with two RBI and a run, and Luke Schneider was 1-5 with two RBI and a run.

Lafayette Jefferson 8 No. 24 Lafayette Harrison 7 – Joe House was 2-3 with two RBI, Justin Walker was 2-4 with a double, two RBI, and a run, Tristan Brown was 2-4 with a RBI, and Riley Smith was 1-2 with two runs.

No. 1 Hanover Central 7 Hebron 1 – Daniel Balich threw a complete game, striking out 12, allowing one unearned runs and four hits. Balich went 1-1 with a double and three RBI, Dylan Knutsen was 1-3 with two RBI and a run, and Riley Welch had a RBI and two runs. 

No. 3 Jasper 10 Bloomington South 3 – Bayer got the win throwing six innings allowing three runs on five hits. Ben Moore was 2-5 with a double, two RBI, and two runs, Cal Krueger hit a solo homerun, Tyler Haskins was 2-4 with three runs, Austin Alles was 1-2 with a RBI and a run, and Evan Aders was 1-3 with a RBI and a run. 

No. 4 Andrean 10 Hammond Academy 0 – Andrean had three pitchers combine for a no hitter: Justin Ruthrauff (three innings, three strikeouts), Stone Brogan (two innings), and Jake Sweeny (one inning, two strikeouts). Kevin McCune was 2-2 with a double and three runs, Nick Podkul was 1-2 with two RBI and a run, and Parker Huttle was 1-1 with a RBI and a run. 

No. 6 Yorktown 11 Mississinewa 4 – Jake Clawson was 2-3 with three RBI and two runs, Nathan Phillips was 2-2 with two doubles, a RBI, and a run, Brady Horine was 2-3 with a double, two RBI, and a run, and Brady Stout was 1-3 with a RBI and a run. Phillips got the win throwing five innings allowing three runs on five hits, striking out five.

No. 1 Knightstown 10 Southwestern 0 – Tyler Burton threw a five inning no hitter, striking out eight. Tyler Richardson was 2-3 with a double, two RBI, and two runs, Drake Peggs was 2-3 with a double, RBI, and a run, Jake Kwisz was 1-2 with a double, two RBI, and a run, and Kaleb Kinnaman was 1-2 with two RBI. 

No. 3 Wapahani 9 Cowan 1 – Zack Thompson struck out 15 in six innings of work, allowing one run on three hits. Taylor Shroyer was 3-4 with three RBI, Hayden Castor was 3-3 with a double, RBI, and a run, Jared Coats was 1-4 with a RBI and a run, and Thompson had a RBI and two runs.

 

More Highlights

Bellmont 12 Woodlan 1 – Bellmont moved to 9-0 with the win. Brett Baker was 2-4 with a double, homerun, four RBI, and three runs, Jake Hall homered and drove in two, Drew Dobbles hit a solo homerun, and Mason Shinaberry was 2-4 with a double and two RBI. 

Bishop Dwenger 11 Bishop Luers 3 – Jack Harris was 2-3 with a triple and six RBI, Sklyer Noll was 2-4 with a double and a RBI, Noah Friemuth had a double and a RBI, and Justin Wagoner was 2-4 with a double and four runs. Freimuth threw four innings allowing one run on six hits, striking out six. 

Brebeuf 13 Covenant Christian 3 – Michael Hogan was 2-2 with a double, two RBI, and a run, Leo Watson homered and drove in two runs, Marshall Farren was 1-1 with a double, RBI, and two runs, and Jack Eggleton was 1-2 with a RBI and two runs. 

Cardinal Ritter 8 Speedway 1 – Blake Malatestinic threw a complete game, striking out 11 and allowing one hit and no earned runs. Isaac Wynne was 1-3 with a double and three RBI, Brian Bacon was 3-3 with a double, two RBI, and three runs, Alex Vela was 2-4 with a RBI and a run, and Kyle Matter was 2-2 with a double and two runs. 

Connersville 6 Richmond 4 – Connersville scored five in the top of the seventh to get the win. Dalton Huffman got the win in relief throwing two shutout innings allowing one hit and striking out two. Matt Watkins was 1-2 with two RBI, Jordan Clark was 2-4 with a RBI and a run, and Dylan Huffman was 1-3 with a RBI and a run. 

Delphi 5 Twin Lakes 4 F/8 – Josh Gillam hit a walk off double in the bottom of the eighth, Ostin Clark was 3-4 with a solo homerun and two runs, Mason Lane was 3-4 with a RBI, and Trevor Cox was 1-3 with two RBI. Brent Hawn threw three shutout innings to close out the game and get the win allowing three hits and striking out four. 

Delta 17 Winchester 0 – Adisyn Coffey was 3-3 with a double, four RBI, and two runs, Adam Haynes was 2-3 with a double, three RBI, and a run, Nick Maloney was 1-3 with three RBI and a run, and Cade Jones was 1-2 with two RBI and three runs. Haynes threw all five innings allowing two hits and striking out six. 

Eastern Hancock 4 Blue River Valley 0 – Tom Barton threw a no hitter going all seven innings, striking out seven. 

Franklin 13 Martinsville 6 – Dylan Drybeard was 3-4 with two doubles, seven RBI, and three runs, Jerris Lee was 3-4 with two homeruns and four RBI, Andrew Hartkorn was 2-3 with a double and four runs, and Eric Braughton was 1-1 with a double and a RBI. 

Greenwood 6 Plainfield 5 – Greenwood scored three in the top of the seventh to take the lead. Reid Werner was 1-2 with two RBI and a run, Jackson Daugherty was 3-3 with two runs, Dylan Rosado scored twice, and Damon Maynard had a RBI. Tanner Skeel threw a complete game to get the win. 

Heritage 13 Adams Central 5 – William Lomow was 3-3 with a double, triple, four RBI, and three runs, Andrew Saalfrank was 1-2 with a double and three RBI, and Matthew Gibson was 2-3 with a RBI and a run. Branson Dossen struck out 11 in five innings of work allowing two earned runs and six hits. 

Heritage Hills 6 Evansville Mater Dei 4 – Tyler Ward was 3-4 with a RBI and two runs, Mason Becher was 2-4 with two RBI and a run, and Kenton Crews was 1-4 with a triple, RBI, and a run. Logan Wilkerson got the win in relief throwing four shutout innings allowing two hits and striking out six. 

Homestead 17 FW North Side 0 – Drew Lunsford was 3-5 with four RBI and two runs, Joey Detter was 3-4 with two doubles, two RBI, and two runs, Brady Sheehan and DJ Moore each went 2-3 with a RBI and a run, and Alex Bradtmiller was 1-1 with a double and three RBI. Cameron Millet threw four shutout innings allowing one hit and striking out five. 

Jac-Cen-Del 7 Southwestern 0 – Ethan Adams threw a one hit complete game shutout to get the win, striking out 10. Reuben Benham was 2-4 with a double, two RBI, and a run, Tyler Huff was 2-4 with a RBI and two runs, Maverick Dwenegr was 2-3 with a RBI and a run, and Blake Straub doubled and drove in two. 

Lanesville 18 Perry Central 0 – Brenden Bube was 2-2 with a homerun, four RBI, and three runs, Caleb Gresham homered and drove in three, Josh Barnes was 2-3 with two doubles, a RBI, and a run, Tommy Tidstrom was 2-3 with a double, three RBI, and two runs, and Greg Daly was 3-3 with a RBI and four runs. Stephen Shaffer threw four shutout innings allowing two hits. 

Lowell 24 Hammond 2 – Jeremy Surowiec was 3-3 with three RBI and three runs, Justin Thomas was 2-2 with a triple, four RBI, and two runs, Jake Slager was 3-4 with two RBI and three runs, Josh Arnold was 2-2 with two RBI and two runs, and Jon River was 3-5 with a double, RBI, and three runs. Rivera got the win throwing all five innings allowing one earned run, five hits, and struck out six. 

Lutheran 13 Triton Central 0 – Spencer Owen got the win throwing five shutout innings. Jason Sneed was 4-4 with two double and three RBI, Austin Mays was 3-4 with three runs, and Seth Hougesen was 2-4 with a two run homerun. 

Morgan Twp. 14 East Chicago Central 4 – Jake Koselke was 3-4 with two doubles, three RBI, and three runs, Connor Martin was 3-4 with a double and three runs, Jake Sutton was 2-3 with two RBI and two runs, Lucas Rochowiak was 3-4 with a double and two runs, and Drew Meschede was 2-4 with two RBI and a run. 

Northfield 6 Wabash 5 – Shane Vigar was 3-4 with a homerun, three RBI, and two runs, Adam Roser was 2-3 with a triple, RBI, and two runs, and Drake Richter was 1-2 with a RBI. Remington Monce struck out 10 in a complete game win allowing three earned runs and eight hits. 

Plymouth 6 Wawasee 5 – Braydon Davidson was 3-4 with two RBI, Brandon Milligan was 2-3 with two runs, Justin Drudge was 2-3 with a RBI and a run, and Joe Smith was 1-3 with a RBI and a run. Cody Gamble got the win in relief throwing two innings allowing one earned run, two hits, and striking out three. 

Portage 6 Griffith 4 – Jesse Bustos got the win the win throwing six innings allowing two earned, five hits, and struck out six. Jacob Kendall was 2-3 with a RBI and a run, Cody Simmons was 2-3 with two doubles and a RBI, Hunter Thorn was 2-4 with a double and a RBI, and Jesse Bustos was 3-3 with a run. 

Rising Sun 10 Switzerland County 0 – Mitch Morris struck out 10 throwing all six innings, allowing two hits. Austin Armstrong was 2-4 with two RBI and three runs, Levi Purvis was 2-2 with two doubles, a RBI, and a run, and Jacob Sandlin was 2-2 with a RBI and a run. 

SB St. Joe 15 SB Washington 3 – Dylan Scott was 2-4 with a homerun, four RBI, and two runs, Daniel Torres was 2-3 with two doubles, two RBI, and three runs, Wes Short was 2-3 with two RBI and three runs, and Matt Potter was 2-4 with a double, RBI, and two runs. James Whiteman got the win throwing all five innings allowing one earned run and four hits. 

Sheridan 4 Carroll 2 – Austin Hoover threw a complete game allowing two runs on three hits, striking out four. Garrett Chesney was 3-3 with a run, Jordan Kyriakopoulos was 2-3 with a RBI and a run, and Austin Sexson was 1-2 with a RBI and a run. 

South Putnam 11 Turkey Run 9 – Jake Carmichael was 2-3 with two homeruns, six RBI, and three runs. Braxton Lucas was 3-3 with a RBI and a run, and Grady McHugh was 2-4 with a double and two RBI. Hunter Croan got the win in relief throwing 3.2 shutout innings allowing three hits and striking out five. 

Southwood 3 Rochester 2 – Robbie Cole threw a complete game to get the win allowing one earned run, five hits, and struck out four. Brandin Frazier was 2-3 with a RBI and a run, Zach Ball was 1-3 with a double and a RBI, Brennan Kelly was 1-3 with a double, and Jake Lloyd walked and scored. 

Tri-Central 6 Clinton Central 4 – Austin McCollogh was 3-4 with a double, triple, and a RBI, Noah Brahm was 2-3 with a RBI and two runs, and Colton Leininger doubled and drove in two. McCollough threw a complete game allowing four runs on eight hits, striking out five. 

Vincennes Rivet 4 North Knox 3 – Lance Lane got the win throwing a complete game allowing three runs on eight hits, striking out nine. Ben Templin was 2-2 with two RBI and a run, Andrew Lehman was 1-1 with a RBI and a run, and Jackson Niehaus doubled and scored twice. 

White River Valley 12 Shoals 2 – Dilean Delph was 3-4 with a double, homerun, and five RBI, Hunter Cornelius was 2-4 with a double, RBI, and three runs, Brayton Cornelisu was 1-2 with two RBI and two runs, and Trey English was 2-4 with a RBI. Brayton Cornelius threw a complete game allowing two hit, no earned runs, and struck out 10. 

Whiteland 3 Decatur Central 2 – Jacob Roberson got the win throwing a complete game allowing two runs on four hits, striking out four. Dakota Purdue was 2-3 with two RBI and a run, Roberson was 1-3 with a RBI, Austin Browning was 2-3, and Christian Curry doubled. 

Whitko 3 Manchester 0 – Whitko scored all three runs in the top of the seventh. Tanner Graff threw a five hit complete game shutout to get the win, striking out eight. Landen Goff was 2-3 with two RBI and Zach Snep was 2-4 with a double and a run.
