Connor Misch, 1B/LHP, Lake Central, 2022
Xavier commit. Strong, Athletic  6-foot 3, 190 pound LHP/1B showed well on the mound and at the plate. Worked almost completely out of the windup enroute to throwing a No-Hitter. Showed good balance and direction throughout delivery. Had a tendency of landing with a soft lead leg. Came out of the gates at 82-84 while topping at 85. Complemented his fastball well with a CB (67-69) he could throw in any count. Ended the night: 5ip, 0H, 0R, 3BB, 2K’s. Misch, who is a RHH, showed off his power, nearly leaving the yard to the RCF gap. Starts his swing from a slightly open, tall stance. Displayed a good rhythm and balance in the box. Went 2-3 with a 3B, and 4 RBI’s.

Josh Adamczewski, INF, Lake Central, 2023
Uncommitted 2023 LHH Infielder. 6-foot, 170 pound athletic frame. Hits from an athletic, open stance, utilizing a toe tap during his load. Showed opposite field power and speed with a line drive triple into LCF. Went 2-2 with a 3B and BB. Adamczewski played 2B for Lake Central tonight. Smooth hands, quick feet on every play at him tonight. Showed off a quick exchange when needing to turn a double play. Good follow for summer.

Matt Santana, C, Lake Central, 2023
Tennessee commit. Strongly built 5-foot 9, 185 catcher had a nice night at the plate. RHH sets up in a balanced, slightly crouched stance. Has a small leg kick with an average length stride that helps transfer weight through swing nicely. Slight drop of hands while loading. Explosive bat speed shown with his first hit of the ballgame, sending a ball over the LF head. Finished the night 2-3 with a 2B, and 2 RBI’s.

April 5 Columbus East @ Cathedral
By Cooper Trinkle

JT Stiner, C, Cathedral HS, 2024
Virginia Tech commit. Stocky, athletic 5-foot-11 175 pound frame. Balanced setup, small load, with a clean bat path. Stiner has simple actions at the plate allowing him to have a good feel for timing. Behind the dish, Stiner shows some flexibility in his lower half and plays the game with a high motor. Would like to see him develop more arm strength to improve the catch & throw part of his game. 4.3 H-1st on a groundout, showing an improved run tool from the summer/fall. Finished the night 2 for 4 with 2 opposite field 2B’s and picking up 2 RBIs in Cathedral’s win.

David Ayers, INF, Cathedral HS, 2023
Uncommitted 2023. Long, lanky 6-foot-4 180 pound frame. Hits from a wide stance with a high handset, loads his hands down and back to a strong hitting position, and uses a short stride. Quick hands, good bat speed, and a lot of length in the swing/frame. Ayers is a very good runner underway, with a 6.65 60 at Preseason All State. In game, he was a 4.2 H-1st. The mix of bat speed, size, and athleticism that Ayers possesses projects him out to have a chance to be very offensive at the next level. Ayers finished the night 1 for 4 with 2 RBIs.

Patrick Mazur, OF, Cathedral HS, 2024
Athletic, 6-foot-1 170 pound frame. Mazur hits from a tall stance, with a preset handset, and short stride. Simple swing with some strength. Rotational-type swing from the right side. Mazur is a 3-sport athlete that projects to continue to progress from an athletic standpoint, with a chance to be very physical. Good follow in the 2024 class. Went 2 for 3 for the “Irish” in this look, including a 2B.

Alex McComb, C, Columbus East HS, 2022
IUPUC commit. Strong, 6-foot 180lb frame. Plays very hard behind the dish and blocks well laterally. Some flexibility in the setup as well. Showed off some arm strength, throwing a runner out from his knees in this look. Tall stance at the plate with a toe tap stride. Uphill path with some barrel strength.

Hunter Snyder, SS, Lake Central, 2023
Columbia commit. 6-foot, 175 pound LHH infielder, lean, athletic frame. Sets up in the box with an open, wide stance. Smooth load with slight drop of hands, leg kick used to get into position. Displayed good balance through swing, with average bat speed. Had a 2-5 night with a 2B. Played SS for Lake Central today, displaying sure hands when the ball is hit in his direction. Good arm strength on the left side of the infield.

Conor Pangburn, RHP, Lake Central, 2022
Purdue Northwest commit. The long, athletic built 6-foot 4, 185 pound RHP started for the Indians tonight. Pangburn started the game sitting at a consistent 87-89 while hitting 90 multiple times. Works from a drop and drive delivery, while releasing the ball from a high ¾ arm slot. Took command of the zone all night, keeping hitters off balance with his sharp slider that was consistently 77-78 through the first few innings. Good projectability. 6ip, 5H, 3R, 1ER, 1BB, 7K’s

Eric Santaguida, RHP, Crown Point, 2022
Western Carolina commit. Tall, thick, 6-foot 4, 210 pound frame. Entered the game in the 5th inning, sat 87-88 with his fastball in his first inning, topping at 90. Shows some projectability. Works out of a drop and drive delivery, with some effort and a ¾ arm slot. Flashed a slurvy breaking ball at 72-75, with late action, and was effective especially low in the zone. Tends to fall towards the 1B side during finish. Expect to see velo jump. Good projectability.

Brody Chrisman, OF, Zionsville HS, 2022
The Purdue signee had an impressive performance against Fishers. Physical, 6-foot-3, 190 pounder that looks like a next level athlete. Chrisman hits from a balanced setup with a high handset to start. Uses a short leg lift type stride with a small hand load. Good bat speed and presence in the box. Has a tendency to over rotate in his lower half. Very good runner. The mix of size, athleticism, and bat speed projects to allow Chrisman to have success offensively at the next level. Chrisman showed a lot of arm strength in pregame from RF, with good arm accuracy to go with it. He finished the night 2 for 4 with a 2B.

Joey Brenczewski, SS, Fishers HS, 2022
Long, lean 6-foot-2 165 pound frame. The Indiana signee was a catalyst at the top of the Fishers lineup and a reliable defender at shortstop. Showed good footwork, soft hands that work well out in front, and athletic lateral movements in the infield. Good instincts. Above average arm strength with the ability to use multiple arm slots. At the dish, he hits from a tall stance with a high back elbow. Slow, smooth leg kick, but tended to dive forward with his front foot. Showed good bat to ball skills and a line drive approach. Brenczewski finished the night 2 for 3 and scored 1R.

Jack Brown, OF/RHP, Fishers HS, 2024
The #2 ranked player in Indiana’s 2024 class and a Louisville commit. Brown is very impressive on the mound, but tonight he hit in the 3 hole and played RF for a good Fishers team, and he showed true two-way potential. Athletic, 6-foot 190 pound frame, with present strength. Brown hits from a narrow, slightly crouched stance with a lower handset. Uses a controlled leg kick stride and has minimal movement in his hands throughout the load. Advanced, electric bat speed. Good runner, ran a 4.25 H-1st to force an error in the 7th. Advanced arm strength in RF as well. Brown is a special athlete that has the ability to impact the game in a multitude of ways. Brown finished the night 1 for 3 with an RBI and 1R scored.

Caulin Brown, C, Fishers HS, 2024
Strong, 5-foot-10 170 pound frame. Behind the dish, Brown plays with a high motor and shows good receiving skills. Good flexibility in the lower half and quick feet, Brown blocked well and showed good lateral movements from the crouch. Twitchy exchange with pop times between innings at 2.0 - 2.1. At the dish, hits from a wider, balanced setup with preloaded hands. Controlled leg lift type stride, gets to a consistent launch position. Uphill bat path, with some bat speed.

Drew Dickson, RHP, Zionsville HS, 2022
The Northwestern signee showed a real ability to spin the baseball, striking out 10 in his 6 IP. The 6-foot-3, 220 pound RHP sat 85-88 mph on the fastball, touching 89. Dickson spun two different breaking balls, a slurvey type breaking ball at 73-76 mph, and a sharp, 77-80 mph slider with true swing-and-miss capabilities. Repeatable delivery with good tempo. Consistent balance point, clean arm swing, and good balance throughout. Dickson is a competitor on the mound with command of all three pitches that he will throw in any count. High pitch IQ.

Joey Wilmoth, RHP, Fishers HS, 2022
Athletic, 6-foot 2 frame with a strong lower half. Wilmoth has a bulldog mentality on the mound, wanting the ball in the big moment and showing competitive fire. The Illinois State signee came out of the pen to throw the last 2 ⅔ inning for Fishers, striking out 4 and allowing just one baserunner. Wilmoth sat 87-90 mph on his fastball, going right at hitters with this pitch. He complimented the fastball with a 72-75 mph, 11/5 curveball that showed good depth and shape. Wilmoth had the ability to spin the breaking ball for a strike, and also to bury it as an out-pitch. Good tempo throughout the delivery and showed very good arm speed.
