The Prep Baseball Report Future Games featured an impressive collection of 2016 and 2017 prospects from 10 states on July 31-August 2 at Grand Park Complex in Westfield, IN. The overall pitching was especially dominant, with 39 players touching 87-plus with their fastballs, 10 of whom were 90-plus.

RHP Brenden Heiss (Jacobs HS, IL) led the way when the 6-foot-1, 200-pounder touched 95 mph, and never threw a fastball under 90 in his two innings of work.  RHP Skylar Szynski (Penn HS, IN) was the only other pitcher who exceeded 91, touching 92 in his outing.

The Future Games, however, wasn’t all about pitching. The event also featured its share of high-level athletes. Twenty-four players ran sub-7 60s, with 2017 INF Nolan Williams (Turner HS, KS) and OF Milo Beam (Westfield HS, IN) leading the way at 6.61. Williams also showcased the top infield arm at 90 mph across the infield.
