Scouting Report

2/24/18:  6-foot-1, 170 pound outfielder has above average arm strength.  Fluid footwork, clean exchange.  Throws topped 86mph.  In the box, showcased above average bat speed from an uphill path.  Wants to lift.  High elbow in setup. Gap to gap approach, power potential. Strong hitter with loud contact. Average balance, backside tends to collapse.  High exit velocity of 82mph.  Ran a 7.65 60 yard dash. Good follow 2020.

10.14.17: 60 Time: 7.65, Position Velocity: OF-84, Exit Velocity: 88. 6-foot-1, 170 pound sophomore outfielder showed arm strength and plus bat speed from the left side with long projectable frame. Loose, athletic swing, works tall and slightly open setup with good rhythm and fluid load to swing. Creates good barrel tilt with hands prior to swing, lands athletic and balanced after stride. Average lower half with plus bat speed, line drive with lift, head and shoulders topple through contact and extension. More strength in lower half, potential power swing. Athletic defender in the outfield, good range and instincts. Long, loose high arm action, average arm strength and carry. Footwork was flat and heavy, more foot speed to be developed.
