By Phil Wade & Blake Hibler

On Saturday, February 22, PBR Indiana hosted its annual Preseason All-State Showcase at Westfield High School in Westfield, IN. A record 153 players within the 2015-2017 classes participated in the event, and as always the talent was deep.

Below we analyze the ten standout outfielders from the event......

Top 10

1. Roy Thurman, OF, North Central (Indpls.) HS, 2017: 6-foot, 180 pound projectable freshman with strong frame and athleticism. Ran a 6.89 60 and was very impressive in the batting practice. Starts with a balanced approach with a smooth load.  Has good rhythm throughout the swing.   He shows plus bat speed and power for his age.  Hands are quick.  He’ll need to add arm strength as he matures, but he’ll be a high follow for college recruiters as well as scouts.
