Stock Report: 2015 1B, Dillin Diehm , Garrett HS

Garrett High School's Dillin Diehm is a highly projectable 6-foot-2, 190 pound athletic left-handed hitting first baseman.  At the plate he starts with a tall, open stance, displaying a confident, quiet approach with a smooth load and short stride.  He possesses quick bat speed and gets to extension producing hard hit line drives with the ability to hit the gaps.  Diehm shows great power potential and projects well as a hitter in college.  In the field he works well around the bag and displays great foot work.  He possesses good arm strength at 81 mph.  Not only is Diehm one of the top hitters in the 2015 class, but he is one of the top 10 prospects overall, currently ranked No. 7 in the 2015 class.

This summer, Diehm will be playing for the Midland Redskins baseball organization and will also be a member of Team Indiana at the 2013 Midwest Future Games Powered by Under Armour.
