At 6-foot-1, 220 pounds, Collett was arguably one of the top left-handed high school hitters in the country. This spring he hit .466 with six home runs, seven doubles and 17 RBIs. He possesses above-average power with an easy swing and plus bat speed, while showing the ability to use the whole field. He isn’t a lock to stay behind the plate, but has continued to show improvements and his bat would profile at first base. Collett chose to forgo the draft and is at Kentucky.
