Illinois Scouting Staff

On January 12th, the PBR Illinois and Wisconsin staff hosted its annual winter Unsigned Senior Showcase providing 2020 graduates one last chance to get in front of our staff and over 30 colleges that were in attendance before their final spring season.

Today we roll-out reports on all of the position players from the day and ranked the top three prospects. OF Max Weller (Chesterton, IN) was far and away the biggest winner from the event. Weller put up eye-popping numbers across the board, running a 6.59 60, registering a 101 mph exit velocity and topping at 94 mph from the outfield. Weller looks the part of a middle of the order bat at the next level and should be a high-follow moving forward.
