Name: Cody Burton

Position: C/3B/RHP

State Ranking: 28

Burton is a 6-foot, 195 pound multi-positional player with a strong frame and strong arm.  Behind the plate is 77 mph with pop times between a 1.97-2.10.  Burton is an above average catcher that moves well behind the plate.  At 3B he possesses good hands with fluid feet.  He plays through the baseball with a strong arm across the diamond at 83 mph.  On the mound he sits 84-86 with a loose, easy 3/4 arm delivery.  He possesses a late breaking curveball that is thrown for a strike.  Offensively he displays good bat speed (88 mph exit velo) with gap to gap type power.
