The Warriors return seven everyday players from their state tournament team in 2013.  They return five All-Heart of America League honorees including two 2nd Team 3A All-State team members in right-handed pitcher/outfielder Grif Case and first-baseman/outfielder Taylor Heidebrecht.  Marion only returns one pitcher with 15+ innings so the door is wide open for new faces to emerge on the mound.  Based on the strength of their returning position players, the level to which the inexperienced pitchers perform will likely determine the Warriors position in the Heart of America standings and post-season hopes.
