X-FACTOR
Taylor Woods. The 6-foot-2, 145-pound projectable left-hander earned All-League honors last spring with expectations for him to be the Vikings No. 1 pitcher this spring.

KEY PLAYERS LOST
Clayton Bauer and Logan Mayes. Both seniors off of last year’s 13-9 league champion team posted big numbers and were named to the KABC 4A-I All-State 2nd Team for their efforts. Bauer hit .485 with 14 extra base hits and 29 RBI and was named league MVP while Mayes notched a .479 batting average with 10 extra base hits and 25 RBI.

2015 OUTLOOK:  
The Vikings return six starters from their everyday line-up and most of their pitching staff from last year’s AVCTL-III regular season championship team. The returning group includes three All-League performers in seniors LHP Taylor Woods and SS/RHP Will Adler as well as sophomore 1B Ben Adler.
