Season Outlook
The Tigers lost ten seniors from last year's league championship team that won 17 games.  There will competition for six of the nine starting spots, but Coach Regan is excited about the players he has working to earn those positions.  Junior OF Grant Goldston will emerge as an impact player and team leader after having a successful year last season.  Junior RHP Jarrett Lyon should move into the number two spot in the rotation.  He has a power arm and will also provide power in the line-up.  Seniors Kaleb De La Torre and Carter Young will provide experience and leadership from that previous two league championship seasons.  Young is a left-hand hitting utility player with some juice at the plate. De La Torre, a Neosho County commit, is a 6-foot-1 175-pound left-handed hitting shortstop.  Fort Scott will have leadership mixed with youth to continue its winning ways in 2016.
