Season Outlook
Bishop Carroll will be in search of their sixth consecutive City League Championship in 2018, returning six position players and three pitchers from last years team that lost just two games and finished fourth in Kansas' Class 5A.  Senior Blake Freeman earned All-State honors as a junior and will contribute both in the outfield and on the mound this spring. Last season, Freeman won five games on the mound and hit lead-off.  Senior OF RJ Lara, an All-City selection in 2017, will add another lefty bat to the middle of the order and watch for junior RHP Jack Ebright to build on his All-City performance from last year.  Senior All-City C Trey Kobler will return behind the plate along with Tyler Alverson. And, watch for junior Carson Pracht to have break out season this spring.  The Golden Eagles will also feature Senior Honorable Mention All-State Brady Brockover and Pratt commit, senior Jordan Haffner, on the mound. Junior Jesse Peoples will add depth to an infield that includes senior All-State 2B AJ Peters and All-City 1B Skyler Stuckey.  Bishop Carroll will have a talent and experience as they compete for another City League Championship and the Kansas Class 5 title.
