Prep Baseball Kansas Staff

The Kansas high school baseball season kicks off on Mar. 20, opening day for regular season action under KSHSAA regulations. Perennially, we’ve submitted a preseason questionnaire to high school head coaches across the entire state. Their responses have been flooding in and we’re using the detailed insight they’ve provided in our team-by-team preseason analysis.

Our 2025 preseason coverage continues today.

Key Players Lost:

Coach’s Insight: “We have three strong starting pitchers returning along with eight position players. Our senior class is solid and we will lean on their experience and leadership throughout the season. Our depth should be a major strength of our team this year with some talented juniors and sophomores pushing for some playing time. Our defense must improve in 2025 if we are going to make a splash. We had too many fielding errors and free bases to win those close games. With eight position players returning, we are expecting to improve our fielding significantly.” – Mike Consiglio, head coach
