Each week Coaches from across the state send in player notes and stats as the PBR staff is working to name a PBR Player of the Week.  PBR scouts are also compiling player notes from attended games, as well as box scores from across the state. Brett had a great performance for his first night out of the season, commanding the zone with all 3 of his pitches keeping batters off balance. Struck out 12 while only walking one.

In the season opener double header on Friday, March 24th, Zac went 4/8 on the night with two walks. He score 7 runs, which led the state 1-6A, and stole 7 bases, one behind the state lead 1-6A. He started on the mound in the second game and went 4 innings before Onaga won by run rule 17-0. He needed just 48 pitches to get the win, allowing 2 hits during that span, striking out 5, and walking 1. None of the three base runners Wabaunsee had in the game made it past first base.
