Our "First Thoughts" segment is back with the 2017 Summer Showcase season upon us. After each and every event we will highlight players that is some way, shape or form caught our eye and made a positive impression. There is no specific criteria to make the list; it may be base on numbers, performance, projectability, hustle, character, etc. Players listed below are in no particular order.

Tyler Holmes C / Fairport, NY / 2019Sweet swinging catcher with a balanced approach (84 MPH exit velocity). Hit a HR during the scrimmage over the elevated LF wall. Sub 2.0 pop times with a best of 1.96. First time 2019 that will make a splash in our rankings.
