The Kansas high school season is nearing quickly, and we're here to cover it. Over the next several weeks, leading up to opening day, we’ll be publishing our team previews ahead of the 2023 spring season, touching on programs spanning all state classifications, leading into a countdown through the official PBR Kansas Preseason Power 20 Rankings.

We’ve submitted a Preseason Questionnaire to high school head coaches across the entire state. Their responses have been flooding in and we’re using the detailed insight they’ve provided in our team-by-team preseason analysis.

Team: Bishop Carroll Golden Eagles
League: Greater Wichita Athletic League

2022 Record: 20-5
Classification: 5A
Head Coach: Charlie Ebright
Years at the Helm: 22

This year's Bishop Carroll Golden Eagles will rely on experience and depth that they did not have when they made their state tournament run a year ago. The had 1 freshman and 4 sophomores on the field last year will all be back and better this spring. BC will be strong up the middle and have excellent depth on the roster. They return about 60% of our innings on the mound. If they can stay hungry and focused, they will be well equipped to make another deep run.
