The Kansas high school season is nearing quickly, and we're here to cover it. Over the next several weeks, leading up to opening day, we’ll be publishing our team previews ahead of the 2023 spring season, touching on programs spanning all state classifications, leading into a countdown through the official PBR Kansas Preseason Power 20 Rankings.

We’ve submitted a Preseason Questionnaire to high school head coaches across the entire state. Their responses have been flooding in and we’re using the detailed insight they’ve provided in our team-by-team preseason analysis.

Team: Dodge City Demons

Classification: 6A

OUTLOOK

The 2023 Demons will rely heavily on team speed to bolster their offense and defense. They will needs some new faces to emerge on the mound and with the bat throughout the spring to replace what they lost from a year ago if they are going to make a deep run into a regional this year.

IMPACT PLAYERS

Remmington Miller, RHP/C, 2024  5'8, 165, R/R.
Coaches Notes: Remington is 85-88 with his FB, good slider. Will be a middle of the lineup and leader for us. 6.8-6.9 60 runner. The right-hande

Sage Riekenberg, C/RHP, 5'9, 175 R/R.
Coaches Notes: Sage will do the bulk of our catching as well as get innings on the mound and does a great job filling in at SS/2B. One of the better receiving catchers in the state, 2.0-2.1 pop. 2023 uncommitted
