Recovering from Tommy John surgery, Harper hasn’t pitched since Fall 2015. He has a physical frame at 6-foot-3, 200 pounds and was impressive for Team Select at the 2015 Future Games, touching 89 while sitting at 85-88. He has late movement on his fastball and worked both sides of the plate. He pitches from an over-the-top slot with a quick arm and repeats his release point. He throws strikes and his 11/5 breaking ball has late action. He also mixed in a changeup at 75-76.
