Brodee Rawlins RHP / 3B / Olathe South, KS / 2028Rankings StateRank: 1 / POS: 1
Leading off our first 2028 rankings in the top spot is multi-positional standout Brodee Rawlins. Rawlins is not at the top purely on raw athleticism, tools, and projection, but more on his ability to play the game right now at a high level with polished actions. Rawlins was a standout on both sides of the ball at the Junior Future Games in Atlanta where he helped lead team KS to a No. 1 seed out of pool play. |

Landen Hays OF / LHP / Olathe Northwest, KS / 2028Rankings StateRank: 2 / POS: 1
Arguably the top athlete in the group, Hays is one of the most confident players we have ever been around. The left/left outfielder and pitcher plays the game with an energy and joy that is infectious and a treat to scouts. While impressive on the mound in the low 80s with strikes and an above average breaking ball, it is Hays’ work in the batter's box that really stands out. The left-handed hitter has shown he can handle high-end pitching and put consistent pressure on the defense with his speed. |

Luke McKenna RHP / C / Shawnee Mission South, KS / 2028Rankings StateRank: 3 / POS: 2
Another two-way athlete, McKenna stands out as our top arm in this rankings. The 6-foot-5 right-hander is one of the most projectable young arms we have seen out of KS in years. It's not just all about the projection though, McKenna already shows an advanced ability to repeat his delivery, command the zone, and set hitters up, beating many of the top teams in the region on the mound. With a couple standout older brothers on the mound, it's easy to project a bright future for the young right-hander. |

Charlie Foote C / 1B / Blue Valley Southwest, KS / 2028Rankings StateRank: 4 / POS: 1
Foote was a standout at this year's Junior Future Games as one of the most polished catchers at the supremely talented event and one of the most productive bats as well. The left-handed hitter seemed to barrel a double in every game against the country's top arms while handling a new pitching staff with ease. |

Chase Kvapil LHP / 1B / Shawnee Mission East, KS / 2028Rankings StateRank: 5 / POS: 1
Our top left-hander on the list, Kvapil is physically impressive at 6-foot-3, 180-pounds with much more to come. Kvapil fills up the zone with a low 80s fastball with life and deception thanks to a short and repeatable arm action. Kvapil has continued to prove he is a fearless competitor on the mound with a sky high ceiling. |

Everett Hash OF / RHP / Olathe Northwest, KS / 2028Rankings StateRank: 6 / POS: 2
The most exciting swing on our list, Hash has as much juice and bat speed and any right-handed hitter in the region. At 6-foot, 168-pounds, Hash has already shown growth in his frame and athleticism and shows no sign of slowing down. An exciting athlete to follow, Hash could see his name move even farther up the list as he continues to prove he can produce at the highest levels. |

Mason Stein 3B / RHP / Paola, KS / 2028Rankings StateRank: 7 / POS: 1
A small school product with big tools already, Stein is a high-follow two-way prospect with projection to spare. At 6-foot-1, 176-pounds Stein is well ahead of most of his peers physically as well as showing advanced actions on both sides of the ball. His short swing from the right-side and the hands and feet on the infield gives him the ability to be a must see player for schools at the highest levels. |

Carter Laubach C / 3B / Lawrence Free State, KS / 2028Rankings StateRank: 8 / POS: 2
An advanced catcher behind the dish with strong hands and impressive blocking, it is Laubach's strength with the barrel and feel for finding barrels that push him to the No. 8 spot on this list. Carter has proven he can do consistent damage even against the best arms in the region. |

Hunter Horner SS / RHP / Blue Valley West, KS / 2028Rankings StateRank: 9 / POS: 1
Already showing impressive growth over the last year, Horner is as projectable as an infielder as there is in the state. Horner shows polished actions with the bat and on the infield along with advanced arm strength and speed. Horner has shown a knack for clutch performances and is the son of coach making him an exciting prospect to follow. |

Jake Buchman SS / 3B / Blue Valley Southwest, KS / 2028Rankings StateRank: 10 / POS: 2
Rounding out our list is another high-level gamer with impressive feel for the game. Buchman plays the game one step ahead of most with a polished skill set on the infield and an elite baseball IQ. One of a few true switch hitters in the region showing a sound swing from both sides, Buchman is a name to know.
