We are less than TWO WEEKS from opening day for the 2025 KHSAA season! The Prep Baseball KY staff has been hard at work ranking the top 25 teams in the Bluegrass State. We are now individually previewing our top ranked teams as part of our Power 25 countdown. Our next preview belongs to #14 ranked Ryle High School!

"Expectations are high this season with a talented senior class returning from a trip to the state tournament." - HC Joe Aylor

State Director's Input:

"Joe Aylor’s Raiders ripped off 32 wins along with winning a game in the State Tournament as well last Spring, and, although losing some key pieces, there is plenty left for the boys from Union to be excited about. Leading the way will be Dylan McIntyre (San Jacinto JC commit), who is up to 94 on the bump to go along with his .313 AVG at the plate. McIntyre is a helium riser on draft boards everywhere with an outside shot to hear his name called in July. Look for fellow seniors 3B/RHP Matt Furtado (Rose Hulman), OF/RHP Oliver Morris (Marion Military Institute), RHP/UTL Race Webb (Transylvania), and C/OF Josh Caudill (SW Tennessee CC) to play key roles for this battle tested squad with the hopes of a return trip to Lexington. A name our staff really likes to have a breakout season is 2026 Xaden Hughes, who will run a mid 80’s fastball with better than average secondary offerings. Hughes will be asked to provide some needed punch in the order as well, along with senior Luke Sanders and junior Anthony Coppola. Look for Ryle to be strong contender in a solid 9th Region this Spring." - Jamie Tessoff
