Head Coach Remarks:

"The Spartans are extremely excited for the 2025 season. We have a ton of returning experience at the varsity level. We have an excellent roster full of pitching depth. With the additions of our newcomers, we expect to make a run at the 11th Region title." - HC Kevin Clary

State Director's Input:

"Look for Head Coach Kevin Clary’s Spartans to be a real threat at making a trip to Lexington, led by one of the top two way players in the country in Gary Gibson Jr. The well is certainly not dry after Gibson, with a plethora of talent following him on the mound with Owen Murphy, a healthy high ceiling Jaxson Howard, Lucas Saatman, Camden Stout, Banks Heinrich, and 2023 Future Games participant Pierre Kauffman to name just a few. Offensively, the Spartans will be led by Columbia commit and 2 time Team Kentucky Future Games member Charlie Slabaugh, who has really started to show legitimate power from the left side of the plate. Gibson should be a plug and play middle of the order bat with double digit home run potential. Camden Stout will be another offensive leader who will be looking to have a breakout season as well. The wild card however will be transfer Blake Miniard, who was one of the top young young players in the Commonwealth before injuries took away the better part of two seasons. A healthy Miniard will certainly provide a big thump in the middle of a very talented line up. If the stars align, Head Coach Kevin Clary will be in the running to add another State Title to his resume in what has certainly been a Hall of Fame career." - Jamie Tessoff
