Opening day for the KHSAA baseball season is quickly approaching! Our preseason events have concluded, and our staff has shifted the focus to preparing for the 2025 season. We’ve submitted a preseason questionnaire to high school head coaches across the state. Team Strengths: "This years team will be loaded with experience. Returning 8 open day starters from last year's team should give us a solid foundation to start the season. We also have some quality players waiting for their opportunity to step onto the field. There will be lots of competition at each position on this team, any signs of a slump we have guys that can step in and not miss a beat. We only lose one pitcher from last year's team so we expect to be even better on the mound than we were last year. And will also have some young guys that have the potential to step on the mound when needed. We hit .297 as a team last year and I expect that to take a major jump. We return our top 8 hitters from last season. Defensively, I thought we were solid last season and with eight starters back I expect that to definitely be the strongest part of this team." - HC Ashley Geralds
