Last weekend, a total of 168 teams convened at Ft. Myers, Florida for the WWBA Underclass World Championship Tournament.  When the dust had settled, 3 players from Kentucky Baseball Club performed well enough to make the All-Tournament team.

Marshall Gei - The 6-foot, 160-pound, switch hitting Gei went 5-for-11 with a double, 3 RBI, and 2 stolen bases.  Gei recently transferred from Eastern HS in Louisville to Mount Juliet, TN.

John Hisel - The 6-foot-5, 170-pound RHP from East Jessamine HS topped out at 87 mph and had a no-hitter through six innings before yielding 3 hits in the seventh.  Hisel walked one and had six strikeouts in his complete game effort.

Aaron Ochsenbein - The 6-foot-4, 195-pound RHP from Dunbar HS topped out at 84 mph and surrendered only three hits, one walk, and no earned runs in his seven innings of work over two outings, racking up eight strikeouts along the way.

Kentucky Baseball Club dominated pool play by outscoring their opponents 26-5 in three games.  That earned KBC a spot in the 42 team playoff round where they lost a hard fought 3-2 decision to the Dulin Dodgers.
