KY Player Of The Week April 29-May 4

Chris Fuller
Kentucky Director of Scouting

If it seems like you have heard his name a lot this spring, you probably have. Eastern 2020 OF Andrew Delaney has put on an impressive power display this spring, and as a result, has been featured several times on our social media outlets as a top daily performer. Last week was no different as the uncommitted Delaney led the Eastern offensive attack once again.

For the week, Delaney hit .500 with 3 doubles, 3 HR and 5 RBIs. For the season, he is hitting .390 (30-for-77) with 11 doubles and 10 home runs. His .922 SLG ranks 12th in the state for teams reporting stats to the KHSAA.

At 6-foot-3, 212-pounds, Delaney projects as a middle-of-the-order corner OF at the next level. He has run a 7.30 60-yard dash and shown 87 mph arm strength to go along with a 95 mph exit velocity at his last PBR event.

For his performance on the field, Andrew Delaney has been selected as the PBR Kentucky Player of The Week for April 29-May 4.
