Power 25 Scores and Highlights

Clarksville (TN) 4, #1 McCracken Co 3
Zach Sims doubled and drove in 2 runs, but it wasn’t enough for the Mustangs to pull out the win as Clarksville scored a run in the top of the 7th and held on for the win.

#3 Trinity 16, Seneca 0
Camryn Warfield went 2-for-2 with a triple and 3 RBI, Jack Neal drove in 2 runs, and Hunter Hennessey and Aidan Ecken each doubled and drove in a run. Hayden Rader picked up the win on the mound.

#4 Paducah Tilghman 11, St. Mary 1
Gage Griggs went 3-for-3 with a RBI, Gunner Massey went 2-for-3 with a double and 4 RBI, and Caleb Payne went 2-for-3 with a RBI. Payne also picked up the win with 1 run allowed over 5 IP.

Scott Co 3, #5 Frederick Douglass 0
Sebastian Arden doubled and drove in 2 runs, and Joseph Garrison pitched a perfect game with 5 K’s to lead Scott Co to the win.

#8 Danville 10, Rockcastle Co 3
Preston Barnes went 3-for-4 with 2 HR and 4 RBI, Brady Morse went 2-for-4 with a double and 2 RBI, Logan Smothers went 2-for-4 with a HR and RBI, Brady Baxter had 2 hits and a RBI, and KJ Stanfield went 2-for-4 with a HR and RBI. Jack Simpson allowed 1 run over 5 IP with 8 K’s for the win.

#11 Bowling Green 7, South Warren 3
Patrick Forbes went 2-for-2 with a RBI, Blake Ginter had 2 hits, Trent Warden went 2-for-4 with a double, and Dillon Maners and Drew Isenberg each doubled and drove in 2 runs. Isaiah Head allowed 2 runs over 3 IP to pick up the win, and Patrick Forbes struck out 8 over 4 innings of relief.

Paintsville 7, #15 Pikeville 3

#19 Russell Co 13, Clinton Co 0
Nathan Lawson homered twice and had 6 RBI, Isaac Roy went 3-for-3 with a double, HR and RBI, and Lawson racked up 13 K’s over 5 IP on the mound.

#25 Henderson Co 11, Hancock Co 1
Andrew Mills went 2-for-3 with a triple, and Dru Meadows allowed just 2 hits and 1 unearned run with 8 K’s over 6 IP.

Non-Power 25 Highlights

Apollo 10, Owensboro 5
Nick Judd went 2-for-3 with 2 RBI, Joshua Mayes doubled and drove in a run, and Michael Chaney had 2 RBI. Eli Hampton went 3-for-4 with a HR in the Owensboro loss.

Union Co 6, Hopkinsville 2
Landon Jones went 2-for-4 with 2 RBI, and Cannon Sheffer worked 5.2 innings allowing just 2 hits and 1 run with 7 K’s.

Lawrence Co 13, Johnson Central 10
Will Lafferty went 3-for-3 with a double, 2 HR’s and 7 RBI, Luke Patton went 2-for-3 with a double, HR, and 2 RBI, and Blue Fletcher drove in 4 runs in the victory.

Greenwood 4, Warren East 3
Zach Davis and Rhett Dysholm each had 2 hits, and Ethan Groff doubled and drove in a run. Blake Marks scattered 7 hits and allowed 3 ER in going the distance on the mound. Wyatt Nesbitt doubled twice in the Warren East loss.

Crittenden Co 9, Webster Co 8
Tanner Beverly went 2-for-4 with a RBI, Chase Conyer and Casey Cates each had 2 RBI, and Seth Guess doubled and drove in a run. Maddox Carlson picked up the win with a scoreless inning of relief, striking out the side.

CAL 5, Ballard 0
Jack Perdue went 2-for-3 with 2 RBI, Michael Lynch hit a solo HR, Jett Peterson went 2-for-3, and Jacob Price had 2 RBI. Perdue also fired a complete game, 2-hit shutout with 9 K’s.

Eastern 6, Butler 3
Alex Lindsay went 3-for-3 with a HR and 3 RBI, Jake Lind went 2-for-3 with a triple and RBI, and Evan Chandler went 2-for-4 with a double and RBI. Brayden Nettles threw just 70 pitches and allowed 2 ER in the complete game effort.
