The following is a look at the Class of 2018 and 2019 Outfielders who participated in the event. This is position player analysis only. Those players who also pitched at the event will have that performance featured in a subsequent article.

Reece Puckett, OF, Barsdstown, 2018
60 Time: 6.78, Position Velocity:  OF-81, Exit Velocity: 90
5-foot-9, 155-pound RHH continues to impress as one of the top OF in the 2018 class. Hits from a balanced stance, short stride, generates easy bat speed, gets the barrel on plane and keeps it in the zone an extended period of time, occasionally can get more use from lower half and backside, line drive type hitter with a gap to gap approach, showed best exit velocity to date, runs very well and projects as a top of the order bat. Athletic defender plays through the ball with occasional two-handed approach, high-3/4 release with solid carry on throws, arm strength was down some from previous event (88 mph).

Trey Eden, OF, Madison Central, 2018
60 Time: 6.85, Position Velocity:  OF-83, Exit Velocity: 89
6-foot, 155-pound RHH continues to make impressive improvements in measurables across the board. Athletic prospect hits from an open stance and gets to square with a short stride, stays quiet with no wasted movement, compact swing and keeps the barrel in the zone, produces consistent hard line drive contact with a gap to gap approach. Athletic defender plays through the ball well, has a long over the top release that produced best arm strength to date, throws show solid carry. Eden has proven himself as a high-level 2018 prospect.

Sam Sutton, OF/LHP, Scott County, 2018
60 Time: 7.07, Position Velocity:  OF-83, Exit Velocity: 84
5-foot-11, 160-pound RHH improved every measurable from fall event. Hits from a balanced stance, short stride, hands are loose, flat bat path produced consistent line drive contact to the middle of the field in very good round of BP, showed more consistent use of lower half. Plays through the ball aggressively with athletic actions, long over the top release with good arm strength and above average carry on throws. Sutton is one of the top two-way players we have seen from the 2018 class.

John Ullom, OF, Male, 2018
60 Time: 6.88, Position Velocity:  OF-77, Exit Velocity: 90
6-foot, 175-pound athletic RHH showed good combination of foot and bat speed. Hits from a slightly open stance, squares up with a short stride, maintains good balance throughout contact, flat bat path can work slightly uphill at times, shows flashes of gap to gap power. Plays through the ball, long high-3/4 release, current arm strength is average with time to improve. Ullom is one to keep a very close eye on in the 2018 class.

Brandon Tucker, OF, St Xavier, 2019
60 Time: 7.16, Position Velocity:  OF-81, Exit Velocity: 77
5-foot-9, 160-pound RHH shows good overall athleticism for young prospect. Hits from a wide base and rocks back slightly to load, shows some hand quickness, flat bat path through the zone, line drive contact with a gap to gap approach, has a solid foundation of offensive skills. Attacks the ball and plays through it with an occasional two-handed approach, moves well with athletic actions, long over the top release produces well above average arm strength for age. Tucker is a 2019 prospect to keep a close eye on.

Ty Ramey, RHP/OF, Caldwell County, 2018
60 Time: 7.83, Position Velocity:  OF-76, Exit Velocity: 89
6-foot-6, 210-pound RHH hits from a balanced and upright stance, short stride, uses trong frame to generate bat speed, uphill swing path, creates lift at contact, shows significant power to all fields. Has decent athleticism for size, plays through the ball with a two handed approach, long high-3/4 release with average outfield arm strength. From a positional standpoint may be better suited at first base. Showed some of the more impressive raw power of the event.

Isaac Peters, OF, Central Hardin, 2018
60 Time: 7.56, Position Velocity:  OF-79, Exit Velocity: 85
5-foot-8, 170-pound RHH hits from a slightly open and crouched stance, short stride, minimal load, shows some looseness in hands, uses strong lower half, produced solid line drive contact to middle of the field, shows above bat speed. Plays through the ball with some choppiness in footwork, quick arm action, over the top release, average outfield arm strength. Has time to improve foot speed. Current best tool is his bat.
