Today we take a look at unsigned senior Brandon Ward.  Ward is a 6-foot-3, 195-pound RHP from Covington Catholic HS.  He recently impressed at the Northern KY Prospect ID Showcase with long arm action through a high 3/4 slot that produced an 84-86 mph fastball with some arm side run.  He showed 11/5 action on his curveball with tight spin that sat 73-74 mph. 

Ward is coming off an ACL injury which cost him his junior high school and summer season.  Look for Ward to be 100 percent for the Colonels this spring as they look to avenge a first round 9th Region tournament loss after posting a 33-6 record in 2012.
