More players from around the state that are having standout performances this summer.

2021 INF Gavin Schulz (Holy Cross HS) - Uncommitted - Having a monstrous summer. Has shown the ability to defend up the middle while flashing a twitchy right-handed stroke with bat speed and improved strength. Absolute ballplayer with a high motor and advanced baseball IQ. 

2021 RHP Trent Hillen (Central Catholic (MC) HS) - Uncommitted - Big, durable frame with a strong build and present strength. Fairly clean delivery with a high slot, worked 87-89 mph with average command. Also, flashed a mid 70's breaking ball with solid shape. Fairly unknown right-hander that can be a big add for someone late this summer.

2024 INF/RHP John Pearson (West Monroe HS) - Uncommitted - Strong, physical right-handed pitcher. Playing with 2021 grads and holds his own. Worked up to 85 mph with a clean delivery showing advanced mound presence and pitchability. 

2021 OF Ian Montz (Acadiana HS) - Louisiana-Lafayette Recruit - Long, rangy body with a lean build. Left-handed hitter that has always shown feel for the strike zone and an accurate barrel, continues to impress. The body and sweet left-handed stroke make him a solid follow for pro scouts. 

2021 C Baylor Cobb (Franklin Parish HS) - Tulane Recruit - Long, strong catchers frame. Solid receiver with big arm strength consistently 2.04-2.11 between innings. Left-handed hitter with big power potential. 

2021 OF Mason Zambo (Catholic (BR) HS) - Louisiana-Lafayette Recruit - Long, strong frame that has continued to fill out. Physical left-handed hitter with big time power potential. Consistently shows a solid average arm and strength in the swing, profiles well in right field. Looked really good this week flashing the ability to drive the baseball to all fields. 

2021 LHP Gavin Leblanc (Iota HS) - Uncommitted - Athletic framed southpaw with feel to pitch. Worked 4+ innings in a start where he sat in the low 80s. Got swings and misses on the fastball while showing feel to spin the baseball and feel for the changeup. 3 pitch mix to both left and right-handed hitters. 

2021 OF Parker Coley (Sterlington HS) - Uncommitted - Average frame with an athletic build. Solid defender with big arm strength and high instincts in the outfield. Flashed a compact right-handed swing and pull side strength. Looks to pull early, gets the barrel out front but also shows the ability to adjust and use the entire field with 2 strikes. Interesting bat that looks to be a fit at both corner outfield positions.
