Hammond, LA - On Sunday, September 8, 2024, the Prep Baseball Louisiana staff will travel to Southeastern Louisiana University, to host our annual Senior Games event.  Over the last three years, this event has become our marquee event each calendar year for uncommitted senior prospects.    

 

EVENT HISTORY

Last year's Senior Games was without a doubt our most successful Senior Games event to date, as we finished with 33 total college commitments.  Caleb Hastings, Alex Morrison, and Austin Pounds are three guys that were clear winners from last year's event, and all three are now freshman at LSU-Eunice.  Luke Babin had a really solid day last year as well, which led to his eventual commitment to Nicholls State.

ITINERARY & SCHEDULE

-Check-In Time (Position Players & Two-Way Players): 8:30 AM

-Check-In Time (Pitcher Only's): 1 hour before the start of your scheduled game to pitch.

-9:00-9:10 AM: Introduction

-9:10-9:30 AM: Stretching

-9:30-10:45 AM: 60's & Defense (Outfielders throwing home from RF, while INF's are running 60's in LF.  Catchers will throw down after outfielders are done with their defense.  Infielders will do their defensive portion of the day after catchers, while outfielders are running 60's.)

-10:45 AM-12:00 PM: Batting Practice

-Game 1 (Team 1 vs. Team 2): Start Time approximately 12:30-1:00 PM

-Game 2 (Team 3 vs. Team 4): Start Time approximately 3:00-3:30 PM

-Game 3 (Team 5 vs. Team 6): Start Time approximately 5:30-6:00 PM
