With the fall season in high gear, Prep Baseball Report Louisiana has created an All-Uncommitted team in the 2017 class. Below is a list by position of the best available players in the state of Louisiana in the 2017 class.

Catchers

+ Fritz Walker, C, Mandeville HS(2017)
A 6-foot, 201-pound catcher with a strong, athletic frame. Outstanding athlete at the catcher position that posted a 6.87 60 yard dash. Quality defender with average hands, fluid footwork, and a clean exchange. Long arm action into high-3/4 release with accuracy and carry on throws that produced a positional velocity of 72 mph and a pop time of 1.98. Right-handed hitter that hits from balanced setup, smooth load, leg kick, and explosive lower half. Gap to gap, power type hitter with fluid rhythm, level path and explosive bat speed that produced an exit velocity of 92 mph. Also posted a 4.12 home to 1st.

+ Cade Blanchard, C, Dutchtown HS(2017)
A 6-foot, 165-pound catcher with a lean, athletic frame. Outstanding defender with soft hands, fluid footwork, receiving and blocking skills, and looseness in hips. Short arm action into high-3/4 release with quality arm strength, carry and accuracy on throws that produced a positional velocity of 82 mph and a pop time of 1.96. Right-handed hitter that hits from balanced, athletic setup, smooth load, short stride and quality balance. Line-drive type hiiter with solid rhythm, level path, strength at contact and bat speed that produced an exit velocity of 88 mph. Solid athlete that posted a 7.15 60-yard dash.

Infield

+ Mason Vicknair, INF, Riverside HS(2017)
A 6-foot-3, 190-pound infielder with a lean, athletic frame with long levers. Right-handed hitter that hits from balanced, athletic setup, smooth load, short stride and quality lower half. Pull, power type hitter with solid rhythm, strength at contact, slightly uphill path that creates extension through contact and quality bat speed in the zone. Solid defender with average hands, solid footwork and clean exchanges. Long arm action into high-3/4 release with accuracy on throws and solid arm speed.

+ Kirkland Banks, INF Barbe HS(2017)
A 5-foot-10, 180-pound infielder with a small, athletic frame. Outstanding athlete that displays clear fast-twitch actions and has a solid feel for baserunning. Quality defender with soft hands, fluid footwork, quick, clean exchanges and shows understanding of angles and hops in the infield. Right-handed hitter that hits from balanced, athletic setup, smooth load and short stride. Line-drive type hitter with solid rhythm, level path and quality bat speed.

+ Will Ryan, INF, Neville HS(2017)
A 6-foot-2, 179-pound shortstop with an athletic, strong frame. Solid overall athlete that ran a 7.03 laser timed 60 yard dash. Quality defender with soft hands, quick footwork, quick and clean exchange with a short arm action into a mid-3/4 arm slot that showed accuracy and produced an 87 mph positional velocity. Profiles well at third base showing an advanced tool set at the hot corner. Right-handed hitter with an athletic setup, smooth load, slight leg kick, explosive lower half, excellent balance that showed a level bat path, line-drive, gap to gap approach and fluid rhythm in batting practice all weekend and produced an exit velocity of 93 mph.

+ Cameron Crawford, INF, Dutchtown HS(2017)
A 6-foot-2, 180-pound infielder with a lean, athletic frame. Excellent athlete that posted a 6.75 60-yard dash. Quality defender with average hands, fluid footwork, and a clean exchange. Long, loose arm action into ¾ release with accuracy on throws and a positional velocity of 82 mph. Right-handed hitter that hits from balanced setup, smooth load, short stride and solid lower half. Line-drive, gap to gap type hitter with fluid rhythm, slightly uphill path and bat speed that produced an exit velocity of 88 mph. Also posted a 4.2 home to 1st time.

Outfield

+ Tanner Wiegand, OF, Rosepine HS(2017)
A 5-foot-10, 165-pound outfielder with a strong, athletic frame. Outstanding athlete that posted a 6.6 60 yard dash. Outstanding defender with soft hands, fluid footwork, clean exchanges and instincts. Long arm action into high-3/4 release with accuracy and carry on throws that produced a positional velocity of 85 mph. Right-handed hitter that hits from balanced, athletic setup, smooth load, short stride, solid balance, and simple overall pass. Line-drive type hitter with some rhythm, level path and bat speed that produced an exit velocity of 79 mph.

+ Nick Ray, OF/INF, Jesuit HS(2017)
A 6-foot-2, 195-pound infielder and outfielder with a long, physical, extremely athletic frame. Outstanding overall athlete that posted a 6.83 60 yard dash. Quality defender with soft hands, fluid footwork, clean exchange and fields in an athletic position. Short arm action into high-3/4 release with accuracy on throws that produced a positional velocity of 81 mph. Right-handed hitter that hits from a balanced setup, smooth load, leg kick, quality lower half and balance. Gap to gap type hitter with fluid rhythm that creates solid extension and bat speed that produced an exit velocity of 89 mph.

+ Jamarian Crain, OF, Franklinton HS(2017)
A 5-foot-9, 155-pound outfielder with a small, athletic frame. Explosive athlete that displays fast-twitch actions posting a 6.5 60-yard dash and shows to be solid defensive outfielder with soft hands, fluid footwork and a positional velocity of 82 mph. Right-handed hitter that hits from a balanced, athletic setup, smooth load, leg lift and quality balance. Line-drive type hitter, fluid rhythm, direct path to the ball and bat speed that produced an exit velocity of 83 mph.

Pitchers

+ Austin Booth, RHP, West Monroe HS(2017)
A 6-foot-1, 190-pound right-handed pitcher with a strong, athletic frame. Short arm action into high-3/4 release with quick arm speed and regular effort. Smooth rhythm, level shoulders, in-line direction, lands square and finishes athletic. Fastball sat 83-85 mph touching 86 mph with arm side run. Curveball showed 11/5 shape with late break, depth and fastball arm speed at 71-73 mph. Slider showed 10/4 shape with sharp break, tight spin, and fastball arm speed at 77-78 mph. Also showed a changeup with fastball arm speed at fade action at 77-78 mph.

+ Daniel Dugas, RHP, Pearl River HS(2017)
A 5-foot-11, 174-pound right-handed pitcher with a medium, athletic frame. Short arm action into high-3/4 release with quick arm speed and regular effort. Smooth rhythm, level shoulders, in-line direction, lands square, and falls off. Fastball sat 80-83 mph, touching 86 mph with slight sink and control. Breaking ball showed 11/5 shape with sharp break, and fastball arm speed at 72-74 mph. Also showed a changeup with fastball arm speed and fade action at 73-75 mph.

+ Matthew Delcambre, LHP, Homeschool (2017)
A 6-foot-3, 225-pound left-handed pitcher with a large, strong frame. Long, loose arm action into high-3/4 release with quick arm speed and regular effort. Smooth rhythm, in-line direction, level shoulders, lands square and finishes athletic. Fastball sits 84-86 mph with arm side run and solid control. Breaking ball shows 2/8 shape with gradual break, solid depth and near fastball arm speed. Also flashes a changeup with near fastball arm speed and fade action at 73-74 mph.

Utility

+ Bo Hardin, RHP, Lafayette HS(2017)
A 6-foot, 150-pound infielder and right-handed pitcher with a lean, athletic frame. Outstanding defender with soft hands, fluid footwork, and quick, clean exchange. Loose arm action into ¾ release with accuracy and carry on throws that produced a positional velocity of 86 mph. Right-handed hitter that hits from an athletic setup, smooth load, leg kick, explosive lower half and solid balance. Line-drive type hitter with fluid rhythm, level path and bat speed that produced an exit velocity of 86 mph. Also posted a 4.2 home to 1st time. Right-handed pitcher with long, loose arm action into mid-3/4 release with quick arm speed and easy effort. Smooth rhythm, level shoulders, in-line direction, lands square and finishes athletic. Fastball sat 85-87 mph with command and occasional life. Breaking ball showed 11/5 shape with near fastball arm speed at 69-70 mph. In addition, showed a slider with 10/4 shape, tight spin, and depth at 75-76 mph. Also flashed changeup with fastball arm speed and fade action at 76-77 mph.
