The I-10 Border is coming January 16th to Lamar University in Beaumont, TX. This event will feature prospects from Louisiana and Texas, with a workout in the morning followed by live game action. As we lead up to the event, just a few days away, we will continue to preview several of the top players scheduled to be in attendance.

Scouting Report

Currently ranked No. 24 in Louisiana’s 2017 class.Athletic 6-foot, 150-pound frame, room to add strength and size. Outstanding defender with soft hands, fluid footwork, and quick, clean exchange. Loose arm action into ¾ release with accuracy and carry on throws that produced a positional velocity of 86 mph. Right-handed hitter that hits from an athletic setup, smooth load, leg kick, explosive lower half and solid balance. Line-drive type hitter with fluid rhythm, level path and bat speed that produced an exit velocity of 86 mph. Also posted a 4.2 home to 1st time. Right-handed pitcher with long, loose arm action into mid-3/4 release with quick arm speed and easy effort. Smooth rhythm, level shoulders, in-line direction, lands square and finishes athletic. Fastball sits 85-88 mph with command and occasional life. Breaking ball shows 11/5 shape with near fastball arm speed at 69-70 mph. In addition, shows a slider with 10/4 shape, tight spin, and depth at 75-76 mph. Also will flash a changeup with fastball arm speed and fade action at 76-77 mph.
