Most Viewed Profiles: August 2022

Reece Roussel 2B / OF / Brother Martin, LA / 2025

As we've mentioned before, Roussel has been a household name in Louisiana baseball, after he helped the 2019 Louisiana group win the Little League World Series.  Roussel now looks to impact Brother Martin HS, after a nice summer with the Louisiana Gators Elite - National group.

Marshall Louque SS / RHP / Lutcher, LA / 2025

The LHSAA Class 3A Player of the Year didn't slow down this summer, after a stellar freshman campaign.  Louque made a splash at this summer's Future Games by running his FB up to 90 mph against a loaded Team Carolinas group, where he collected 4 K's over 2 IP.

Bryce Robinson SS / OF / St. Augustine, LA / 2025

Robinson bursted onto the scene this summer at our New Orleans Open, where he showed off multiple tools, with the two really standing out being his sub 6.80 60 and 92 mph arm from the OF.  Soon after, he announced his commitment to Tulane University and most recently, moved into the Top 10 of our state rankings.

Howard Dobson III 3B / RHP / Catholic, LA / 2024

Dobson was a member of our 2021 Future Games squad and came back again this summer and had another good showing.  He collected multiple barrels on the week, while also showing a good glove at multiple positions.  The Catholic BR product also jumped on the mound and worked into the upper 80's with his FB, from a tough low 3/4 slot, to go along with a big sweeping SL.

Grant Breaux RHP / SS / Catholic (BR), LA / 2024

Breaux has had quite the past 12 months, since he came to last summer's Future Games.  He committed to LSU a few weeks after the Future Games, helped Catholic BR win another state title in May, and capped off his summer with a nice performance at the Underclass Area Code Games, by running his FB up to 91 mph and striking out the side in his first inning of work.

JC Vanek 1B / 1B / Barbe , LA / 2023

Vanek earned All-State honors as a sophomore and is one of the top uncommitted prospects in Louisiana's 2023 class.  This summer he led the Knights Knational 17U group at the plate with a .383 AVG to go along with 9 2B, 12 RBI, and 21 R.  On the mound, he compiled a 2-0 record striking out 16 across 12 2/3 IP, to go along with a 2.76 ERA.

Bryson Pierce LHP / OF / Benton, LA / 2024

The Benton HS product had another good summer for BPA and had a great showing at our Top Prospect Games in June, working his FB in the mid-80's, while showing feel for two solid secondary offerings.  That performance earned him an invite to our Future Games this summer and Pierce most recently became our first Future Gamer to announce his commitment, as he has committed to Louisiana Tech.

Stan Wiltz 2B / SS / Brother Martin, LA / 2025

Athletic 5'9" 155 lbs. MIF out of Brother Martin HS.  Wiltz has made considerable jumps and gains since we first saw him at last year's All-State Games at Alex Box Stadium.  At this summer's New Orleans Open, he improved his 60 time by over half a second, shaving it down to a 7.33, while also showing a +8 mph jump in arm strength, clocking in at 83 mph across the diamond, and we expect more jumps from Wiltz at this year's State Games.

William Schmidt RHP / Catholic, LA / 2024

Schmidt is a guy that we've had the good fortune of being able to track since June of last year, and just when you think he can't get any better, he does.  The Mississippi State commit was arguably the Knights Knational 16U group's best arm this summer, as he posted a 4-0 record and a 1.73 ERA, to go along with 36K to only 7 BB, across 24 1/3 IP.  Schmidt capped his summer off with a good performance at the Underclass Area Code Games as well, setting a new PR in FB velocity at 91 mph.

Aidan Grab RHP / 3B / Mandeville, LA / 2024

The Mandeville HS product was another guy that earned a Future Games invite this summer, after a really good performance at our Top Prospect Games in June.  Grab delivered at the Future Games as well by working his FB up to 88 mph, sitting 85-87 mph, to go along with a much improved breaking ball.  Most recently, Grab announced his college commitment to the University of Louisiana.
