LA Most Viewed Profiles: January 2023

#1

Jordin Griffin OF / 2B / Barbe, LA / 2027

The sweet swinging left-handed hitter has been a household name for a few years now, and only in the 8th grade, he recently announced his commitment to Louisiana State University.

#2

Dylan Robinson SS / OF / St Augustine, LA / 2027

Long, lean, and athletic; Dylan is the younger brother of Bryce, who is a 2025 committed to Tulane.  The younger Robinson showed as much upside as his older brother recently at our Hammond Preseason ID.

#3

Brody Hatchett SS / 2B / Mandeville , LA / 2026

Hatchett recently attended our Hammond Preseason ID and turned in a good showing.  Athletic MIF with some twitch, he works short to long at the plate with some aggression that resulted in a max exit velocity of 83 mph.

#4

Preston Dabdoub OF / 3B / Dunham, LA / 2025

Another newcomer, Dabdoub attended our Baton Rouge Preseason ID last month, where he turned in a 7.56 60 and an 82 mph max exit velocity.

#5

Ben Switzer C / RHP / Brother Martin, LA / 2025

A two-way prospect out of Brother Martin HS, Switzer recently attended our Hammond Preseason ID, where he showed some upside on the mound.  He worked his FB up to 84 mph, but it was his 72-75 mph CB with spin rates averaging 2509 RPM's that really caught our eye.

#6

Jake Brown LHP / OF / Sulphur, LA / 2023

The state's #1 player in the 2023 class is looking to build on an impressive junior year that saw him take home District MVP honors.  We recently saw Brown in an intra-squad, where he worked his FB up to 92 mph.

#7

Reece Roussel 2B / OF / Brother Martin, LA / 2025

Another Brother Martin HS product, Roussel showed well at our State Games this past fall, by collecting a couple of singles during gameplay.

#8

Logan Mallard 1B / LHP / South Terrebonne, LA / 2024

South Terrebonne and their run to their first baseball state title in school history was one of the best stories of 2022, and Mallard, a physical 5'11" 270 lbs. 1B, returns to the middle of their order this spring.

#9

Chandler Moreau RHP / 3B / Bunkie , LA / 2024

Moreau recently attended our Hammond Preseason ID, where he worked his FB up to 84 mph, while also recording a max exit velocity of 75 mph.

#10

A Jr. Future Games and Future Games alum, Breaux is a part of a loaded Catholic (BR) staff that is looking to repeat as State Champions this spring.  Reports out of Baton Rouge have been good on Breaux, as we've heard he's already been into the low-90's.
