After drilling down into our google analytics we have compiled a list of the ten most visited Louisiana profiles on the Prep Baseball Report website in 2016.  During the month of December we will count down to the end of the year with a look at those profiles that were most viewed.

No. 5 Jake Slaughter

PBR Notes:  Currently at Louisiana State, ranked No. 1 in Louisiana’s 2016 class, No. 68 overall, also was drafted in the 36th round by the Chicago Cubs. A 6-foot-2, 198-pound infielder with a strong, athletic frame. Quality defender with soft hands, fluid footwork, clean exchange and plays through balls well. Long arm action into high-3/4 release with accuracy and carry on throws that produced a positional velocity of 88 mph. Right-handed hitter that hits from athletic setup, smooth load, short stride, explosive lower half and solid balance. Gap to gap type hitter with fluid rhythm, level path and explosive bat speed that produced an exit velocity of 97 mph. Quality athlete that has posted a 6.66 60-yard dash.
