1/7/17 Large 6-foot-3, 230-pound frame, strong lower half, hulking figure. Long arm action into high-3/4 release, more arm strength than arm speed and regular effort. Smooth rhythm, level shoulders, in-line direction, lands square and finishes athletic. Fastball sat 87-89 mph with heavy sink, quality angle, and strikes. Breaking ball showed 11/5 shape with sharp break, fastball arm speed, tight spin and depth at 73-77 mph. Also showed feel for changeup with fastball arm speed and fade action at 78-79 mph.

5/21/16 A 6-foot-3, 230-pound right-handed pitcher and first baseman with a large, physical frame and strong lower half. Significantly improved his stock heading into his rising junior summer. Right-handed pitcher with long arm action into high-3/4 release with quick arm speed and regular effort. Smooth rhythm, level shoulders, in-line direction, lands square and finishes athletic. Fastball sat 87-88 mph with heavy sink and quality angle. Breaking ball showed 11/5 shape with sharp break, fastball arm speed, tight spin and deception at 73-76 mph. Also showed solid feel for changeup with fastball arm speed and fade action at 78-81 mph. Right-handed hitter that hits from balanced, athletic setup, smooth load and short stride. Gap to gap, power type hitter with fluid rhythm, a level path that creates solid leverage, and bat speed that produced an exit velocity of 90 mph. Solid defender with average hands, fluid footwork, clean exchange and plays through balls. Long arm action into high-3/4 release with accuracy and carry on throws that produced a positional velocity of 83 mph. Also posted an 8.04 60 yard dash.

5/25/15 A 6-foot-3, 230-pound first baseman and right-handed pitcher with a large, physical frame with a strong lower half. Right-handed hitter that hits from a tall, open setup with little to no load, dives a bit on front foot, and an efficient lower half. Gap to gap type hitter that shows a level path and solid bat speed that produced an 84 mph exit velocity. Defensively he showed soft hands with a clean exchange and carry on throws that recorded a 75 positional velocity. On the mound he showed a long, stiff arm action with solid arm speed into a high-3/4 release, regular effort, smooth rhythm and in-line direction. Fastball sat 80-81 mph with slight run. Flashed a decent feel for a breaking ball with 11/5 shape and near fastball arm speed at 72-73 mph. Also showed a changeup with slight deception at 69-70 mph.
